Does Reach melee mod work on slam attacks

Would a max rank reach mod increase the slam radius of weapons like Galatine or dual heat swords fire blast?

I was actually curious of Reach affected any melee weapon besides the Glaive in any way.

Reach works on any melee weapon, not just throwing weapons.
It will make your basic and channeled melee attacks reach further.
It is really noticeable on large 2-handed weapons, like the Scindo.

It doesn't affect the Glaive, besides it's basic swing attack. Throw doesn't go any further.
