Loot is picked up individually, meaning each person will have to run over an item to obtain it. The only exceptions for this are credits (shared equally among all party members when picked up by anyone) or Oxygen Capsules in survival mode (it can only be looted once, and goes to the current team's total oxygen).
Each person will need to walk over mods, resources, and blueprint drops to get their own copy of it. Note that mods and blueprints leave lights of some sort if someone in the group hasn't looted it yet; resources do not.
