Gorgon Wraith being an exception to the system?

So, I was doing the alert for the Gorgon Wraith when i got into an argument with someone in the game with me. They were saying that, just because the Gorgon Wraith came from a regular alert instead of a Tactical Alert, it's suddenly going to be the only Wraith weapon that will be an exception to the entire system and become tradable. In-regards to the potato/slot situation, i personally think it's a bug. But whether it is or isn't, I see no reason to think that the Gorgon Wraith will somehow be an exception to how Wraith and Vandal weapons are treated, whether it came from an alert, a tactical alert, or my a**. I'm curious to see what other people think. If I'm wrong, so be it. But between experience and my knowledge of the game, I see no reason to believe otherwise. What do you guys think?

Eh, even if it doesn't come with a slot, it's not like they're hard to get anyways.

Of course. That's all I ever spend my plat on ever, coming over 170 weapon slots now :X

Tbh, having looked at my inventory, I'm pretty sure I lost a slot to the Gorgon Wraith. I might not have, but i guess that's kinda my fault for not being able to remember how many slots i had open before the alert. Even so, it's a trivial matter.

Some grineer weapons are mastery fodders. Look at the single Viper, noone uses it except for mastery. lol

Well this isn't exactly an event, if you wished for a free potatoed weapon the event did give you one. This is just a free credits and slot so.

I'm still quite bothered that the weapon didn't come with a catalyst installed. Yeah, they gave us a catalyst a few hours before, but still, I'd like to have a nice gun, like the Karak and the Strun, not a mastery fodder.

As i've mentioned, is it a event weapon, did you get it by doing an event? If not then you get no potato, did you do the hijack event and earned the weapon back then? Then you got the potato installed because it was actually a event reward. Not to mention Gorgon has always been seen as fodder regardless.

The whole slot thing seems weird. Did I get a slot? Yes, but I was also out of slots before I did the mission. So, that may have helped.

Technically, sure, but it's just a bonus weekend with no connection to anything in game. Nothing significant other than DE seemingly giving us a bone.
