How do I know if a planet is infested?

Hello, I want to farm Nyx and I don't really know how infested planets work. Could somebody explain this to me? I'm quite new to Warframe. Spent 21 hours or so. Thanks

Scroll over the mission, it brings down some short information, check the faction.

Nyx comes from infested inversions when the infestation takes over the boss, it is then replaced with phorid.

Missions on it will become green, much like Shrek but just not Ogre

Do I get a notification or something like that, or do I need to check them like a caveman?

When you are on your ship the lotus will notify you if a infestation comes along, there is also a tab at the top right in navigation which will list them for you

This. When you're using the navigation console on your ship, there should be a Fist icon in the top-right, clicking on that will bring up a list of all the current invasions going on. For infested ones, you'll be looking for the ones with green in the progress bars.
