Is the tetra good?
Is it like a mini supra?

Yes except worse imo. Lower damage, smaller mag and lower fire rate but recoil propably wasn't as bad. Supra has augment that restores 25% base energy amount.

+it has the Suda augment which gives 20 base status (I'm guessing it gives a flat 20% bonus to the existing status) seems it would be pretty damn useful

Think of the Tetra as an energy bolt version of the Boltor but has a bit more damage, more recoil and slower fire rate. The way they operate is basicly the same though. IMO the Tetra is MR fodder.

I still have not seen people use this weapon other than for mastery...

Tetra is worse then Braton in terms of damage. It's not good at all, except you can make a ravy laser show.

I actually kinda like it. Just for no reason.

I believe it's the only silent assault rifle in the game, it's also a nice weapon that sits in between supra and dera while being more acessible than both considering it's a market weapon, not a dojo one.

It's not an amazing weapon, but with the right mods (such as the puncture one from the event) it can become a nice confortable assault rifle to use in any area, considering the enemy level on most missions, this is a suitable weapon for those enemies.

In other words, it's up to you to make any use out of it, some use it for mastery and some for a more versatile silent weapon

Tetra is okay, but seeing as you could just get Supra or even Dera instead there's very little point in making the weapon other than to get the leveling expee from it.

No, the Tetra isn't very good at all but it's still better than the Supra simply because the Supra is among the worst weapons in the game. The slow projectile speed along with the ludicrous spread make it a complete joke when shooting anything that's more than 2 feet away. Heck, even at a distance of 2 feet headshots are more a matter of luck than skill. And let's not forget the fact that it has one of the longest and most cumbersome reloads in the game. It might be one thing if it dealt something like 100 base damage per projectile, which is about what it would need to be worth a damn. But it doesn't so it's pretty much just a garbage tier weapon.

But hey, don't take my word for it. Listen to the almighty Mogamu!

Simple answer is: no, the Tetra sucks big fat hairy balls. I've been levelling one up for the last few days and it is by far the worst weapon I've tried so far.

Both weapons are very fun to use but suck in damage output - need a buff! I love da Supra, tetra is cool too but I never use them anymore.

it's mastery fodder as far as I'm concerned
