"Get clem" meaning....

So, our fellow Grineer pretty much likes to shout this when fighting us, tenno.

And Is it just me or "Get clem" totally sounds like "get f***ed" in this kind of situation?
I am wondering if "clem" is any kind of swearword for Grineer. I'd liket to know some of your thoughts about it.

Also, now we have our grineer buddy named Clem... what makes him even more....ridiculous at this point, in a good way.

In Grineer language, it's actually "Get them". The Warframe community all took it as in getting another Grineer traitor, who was unknown till Relays came, then many called the medalian trader in Steel Meridian Clem, thus the quest "Man with Few Words" was born. :)

Well, actually, as for the origin of the character, the initial idea was doodled by a guy in a thread on [an imageboard I can't name because Steam is dumb], the results of which are archived here:

The comics took off with the community, and rightfully so, and the Grineer that wanted to be a Tenno got the nickname "Clem" because of the commonly-heard Grineer voice line.

And yes, it is just "get them" but slightly distorted to sound like a unique language.
Though it certainly isn't limited to being used that way anymore.

It is also used as "get dunked on" by warframe community, so you didn't really shoot the sky here. But in that case it would be "get clemmed". If you want to really offend a grineer that runs towards you - mention his mother and "combat formation bravo". Not sure how you would deliver it, considering that tenno cannot speak, but you could shout in the mic. As long as your team is fine with it.

For what it's worth, the Grineer bobblehead figure you can get in your Liset is called Clem.
So if you buy that statue, you're actually getting Clem.
