Scindo Prime vs Galatine ?

Hey guys,
so some people are telling me that the Galatine is better, and others are telling me that the Scindo Prime is better. Can you guys help me decide what weapon i could use for my melee build ?

I'm using those mods at the moment: Tempo Royale, Pressure Point, Berserker, Fury, True Steel, North Wind, Molten Impact, Fever Strike, Shocking Touch

Well, it only has a 10% crit chance, with true steel 15%. That should be enough if you hit big groups of monsters all the time, right ?

I'm not sure how Galatine can be miles above Scindo, but I guess it does have much, much higher reach. Spinning attacks with it are pretty devastating. Scindo, however, is shorter in range, but stronger hitting. Did those people specify, why Galatine is better than Scindo?

Meh unless u got +25% or berserker will rarely start, do try and put on spinning whirlwind, remove true steel and put on a range mod to slice through grineer shields.

They said because of the range. That's all. ^^

Sadly the crit chance is so low. With Scindo Prime + True Steel i would have 32% crit chance.
