Plague Star, and Forma?

I wonder, if there are peoples that think their wil be able to buy at least 50 Forma before the end of the events?

Oh yeah easily. 12 days left of the event and you can get a forma in 9-11 minutes. an hour a day of playtime will get you that.

A good squad can finish in about 10 minutes, a great squad can hit the 6 minute marker. So yeah, that's totally possible

Bro the event is still nearly 2 weeks out from ending and i have early gotten 50 forma from it
The real question is, whether or not there is going to players left that need to buy forma in the next decade without using their forma for memes

HuH? Optimal squad is like 4-5mins....

Wisp for fire rate/heals.
Titania for DPS.
Chroma/Rhino for Damage buff.
And a Melee meta with Sarpa & Shattering Impact. (Volt or Guass here? not sure of the new meta)

I can solo PS in 14mins.... And i could make it bit faster even...

Do not slow down the hemocyte. Armor strip it. Either use melee or something like Oberon with his 2+4 combo.

So because you can`t do it nobody can. I bought 23 forma yesterday from Nakak after 4 hours of playing with randoms. Watch a guide on youtube and adjust your loadout.

One of my clan mates has over 440 forma from PS right now. Down to about 8.5/9 minutes per run.

I would be getting more forma, but can anyone explain where all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ infested come from?
I solo'd with loki to try and level him, a mistake, and I was looking for infested while fighting the hemocyte.

I do a run with my Oberon with 1 aug and the exploding zaw arcane, and i get shredded through my 2 while getting swarmed...

I guess my Ember with 3 aug will work better

Ember 3 works against the mobs, not against the boss.

Infested come from spawn pods. Random pods aimed near spawn points on the map and additional spawn pods from the boss, directed at you.

If you were invis and getting beaten down, I guess they "see through" your cloak. I personally don't have any experience with this mission/event while playing Loki.

Edit- FYI, infested are resistant to radiation damage. So i believe they are also more immune to radiation effects. So laying an average Oberon 2 grass on the ground will do next to nothing against infected.

2nd Edit- DE also made this year's Event tougher. So certain builds that might have barely worked last year, probably won't be as capable this year. IE- they didn't want people to have the same amount of farm.

@h_lordec NOTHING has been changed on Plague Star. Same things work just the same as previous years.

Thanks, though I should have said "shredded through Oberon's 3", which tells a different story and is the source of anger. But either way, my Oberon approach needs work and need to check if Ember 3'ing in the air in it's faces worked or not (likely it's 'not')

Going to be slow without Loki or Nova. DPS isnt an issue when trying to do that mission fast, issue is the escort part which you can skip with loki or nova.

I managed to farm 4 max rank arcanes few years ago (around 250 hemocyte kills). 50 formas would be easier than that.

I'd personally replace titania with a loki or nova to teleport the drone to speed the mission up even further. Pyrana prime itself deals enough damage to kill a whole head with a single mag.
You can cut rhino/chroma requirement too if you subsume roar on wisp for example (which is what I do). No need for melee meta either. Just have a fast hitting melee weapon with impact damage and the shattering impact mod. I do this with wisp too, before the hemocyte can even reveal its heads its armor is gone.

So you can effectively fill 3 roles by yourself.

Thats where you go wrong, armor strip on oberon is done with 2+4 combo. When hemocyte stands on hallowed ground, use reckoningx2. needs around 169% ability strength for 50% armor strip,so that 2 reckonings strip it all. Check out my vid, it shows how its done, solo and squad with oberon.

You can always build stims and speed the drone up 75%. It really isnt that slow without loki or nova. Sure they can shave minute or two,but nothing that much.

You dont need Rhino roar or any dmg buffs when you armor strip. Pyrana Prime wastes the heads in seconds.
