When you do a mission you unlock the missions around it, do that in the direction of the assassination

Ok so look for the thing that says "Blah, blah, blah". Once you find the mission you were looking for. But it's locked. You want missions that are close to it and start commpleting those. It'll eventrually get unlocked.

As far as I understand it Y Draig seems to have misunderstood the title of the thread the Penguin opened. Maybe due to an incomplete grasp of the english language (I'm not a native speaker myself so I could understand).

Whatever it is you don't like about his completly seperate thread from this one should have no bearing on this discussion whatsoever. The forums are here for all players regardless of what your opinion might be. Everyone has the right to use them. Espescially those expierienced players that may have some insights or advices that could help those newer players that don't yet know what to do.

That being said once you have gained access to the planet you should be able to see all the missions available at it. One of them should have a symbol in it that normally depicts the bossfights. If you want to know what I mean just look at the earlier planets you have unlocked and look at the missions in which you gained nav segments.

The moment you get to the new planet there should be only one mission that you can play. From there play adjacent mission to unlock a path to the assasination. I have heard that there are measures in place to stop people being taxied to the bossfights. As far as I know as long as you have not unlocked at least one mission adjacent to the assasination even if you beat the boss you can't get a nav segment to the next planet.
