The Dera can be pretty solid with some formas a 'tato. Since it does primarily puncture damage, it's good against Grineer and Infested. x3

When you get it, build it for status chance (with those dual-stat elemental mods that are available from Spy 2.0). Corrosive+Cold is one helluva interesting combo that does wonders in the Void as well.

Wait for rank 6 => get soma prime this gun is the best all around because he has almost equal slash and puncture damage making it a decent gun against both armor and health. Only shields can be sometimes a bit annoying.

Don't buy from the market. Spend your platinum to buy a prime weapon from players, much much cheaper.

The best assault rifles / automatic guns are Soma Prime, Boltor Prime, Gorgon Wraith (can't get that at the moment), Braton Prime. Just keep in mind if you go for the Soma you need MR6 and lots of Crit mods, it's weak without building it purely for crit + 1 element.

You can get most of those under 100 plat if you ask in trade. Compared to 200+ plat for buying a NORMAL weapon from the market.
