Okay so in fact he's just moving on the new game Soulframe, so this is quite encouraging for Soulframe game, Steve is full of talent and able to be surrounded by great people . Cheers for him and congrats to Reb

Yeah but it's a shame his talent won't be put into warframe, kind of worrying about warframes future

Well i agree and disagree in the same time, in a sense where he formed the warframe team , and being in the lead for so long , people under him need to have kinda the same foreseen.

but it is still true that Rebeca can take a non-sense decision from a day to another... only futur will tell us more about Warframe (and soulframe too :3 )

But who better to lead that future than one of the most knowledgeable and important team members relating to the game's community over the past decade?

If Reb left to be the community manager of Soulframe and someone else we've never heard of took over the creative director duties, then I'd be worried about Warframe's future. But they didn't, they gave it to the person in probably the best position to lead the game forward, who without a doubt understands Steve's vision.

I think Warframe will be fine, and I'm super happy to see such a great team move onto something new.

I think this is a wait and see type thing. Steve has always been a very creative ideas guy. However the issues that's caused is that refining old content is boring to him and from what i can gather reading between the lines he is somewhat responsible for DE always being new content focused at the expense of old.

Reb has a great personality and Warframe has been lucky to have her as community directer. Further she plays the game herself and knows what the issues are from both feedback and personal experience.

What will that translate to? no idea. DE have said that new content is always received better than refining old, so DE being new content focused cannot be solely laid at Steves door. So its possible that even under Reb old content will continue to languish. Further we cant say for sure what direction Reb wants warframe to go in. Steve will have had plans but those will only go so far. If Reb even wants to follow them

Interesting times ahead. While i think the name is a bit stupid i'm interested to see what Soulframe looks like.
