Whatever you do, don't get Nekros. Aside from making farming slightly quicker, he simply has no redeeming qualities.
Nyx is really good for CC, and honestly, she might be the way to go if you normally play with other players and want to make your squad happy. She even has a place in Trial of Retribution, IMO.
Then there's Oberon. Oberon is not a popular warframe, yet he's one of my favorite frames. When built correctly, he's incredibly tanky, and also dishes out some great damage and CC. I always have a ton of fun playing him because of how active his playstyle is, but despite his teamheal, he's really more of a solo frame.
So basically I'd either go with Oberon if you're a solo player, or Nyx if you play with other people.
Thanks for the reply man. Your the first person to say oberon was worth anything. I do really like my CC frames, so nyx will be my first choise im thinking.
Oberon is fun but lacks the power and utility of the other two. Stylish frame, but its weak kit is a reality that needs to be faced when having limited slots. And your trinity is a stronger support char making squad building easier and quicker.
Nyx and Valkyr would be a stronger duo for t4. Nekros, while a stronger choice than oberon, is weaker than valk significantly weaker when soloing. Chaos(point defense flavors) and melee immortality(anything else) make for a pretty strong combo for all mission modes.
And why bash nekros? With 2 syndicate mods you can make good use of 3 of his abilities at once and be reasonably tanky with his 4 and reviving units like nullifiers, shield ospreys, and ancients. Combine that with a decent weapon+terrify and he's very safe solo'er that can actually get into squads with his kit alone. Unlike oberon.
Nyx hands down. Nyx is the easiest as you just need to get a Planet's Boss to get infested.
Oberron is more on luck as you have to wait for Eximus mobs to even drop his BPs
Nekros... I'm honestly going for him atm just because I'm a fan of necromancer characters in games. (Stems back from the D2 Necro fun-times)
All the reasons seem to be mentioned already though for why Nyx is the best choice. besides usually you'll be collecting them all eventually if you're really planning on playing Warframe seriously in the foreseeable future.
No prob! Nyx is definitely a good one. Lots of utility with her 3, great survivability with her 4.
