Whats the best way to Build a Gorgon?

Just got it built and want to get it as strong as possible.

I should admit, I realize there are stronger weapons and I'll pick up the Soma(hunting Prism Gorgon too) when my Mastery is 6 but I just love the feeling of dropping lead down range, to me there is no more satisfying sound. I'm talking I want to be standing in a pile of my own shell casings within 10 seconds.

Still though, those ridiculous firerate builds I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love doing. Have you heard Wraith Twin Vipers with maximum firerate? Mine do something like 84 bullets a second. With a 79 round magazine.

hehe, awesome. But just saying that because of the high rate of fire and the magazine size, 10-15% critical hits will net a critical fairly often. So the gorgon is sort of one of the few "lower tier" auto-weapons that can work with a crit build. Relatively speaking. I mean, I'm not saying it's a super build. But with punch-through, reduced accuracy, increased rate of fire - you can close down a corridor with that (instead of just pelting one target). While other machine-guns (or dual sub-machine guns) tend to have lower rate of fire, smaller magazines, etc., without having crit and stat%-stats that would make them all that much more useful (and you also lose the crowd control part).

Can also combine a build like that with even low-level sonar, molecular prime, eclipse, and things like that. To offset the low base damage.

So the choice is obvious.

Multishot, Serration and all the other damage mods like Elemental damage ones. Not the status and damage but just the elemental damage.
If you have it, throw in Heavy Caliber instead of an element mod.

You'll need a faster reload though.

Personally I'd just go for Soma instead as it's miles better.

I would recommend a Karak, Boltor Prime (normal Boltor is crap, but better than the Gorgon), or a Tigris.

Already have a 3 formaed Bolter Prime so I'm just fine. At this point I just play for fun and style. It was the first weapon I focused on when I started this game years ago. Definitely not the greatest but it's seen me through some great times so I am fond of it.

Funnily enough I have about 8 frames and Rhino isn't one of them. Plan to get him but I just keep putting him off....poor Rhino I used to think he was so cool when they first released him.

Out of all the automatic weapons that fire stuff, Boltor Prime is easily among the best. Sharing the top place with Soma Prime. The rest of the automatic firing weapons are just not up to par. Most of them are just pathetic. They don't feel good to shoot unlike Boltor Prime which have an satisfying sound and pins people to the wall.

It'll also hold up well enough in Void as well.

You guys might hate it but it is not a bad weapon in any way. So stop trying to tell people it's a bad weapon. It's like most people saying you don't need to spend a dime but probably forgotten how grindy the game is. Where spending some money could help a lot.
