how to get a fetch mod in 2024?

tried to follow a guide on youtube by letting enemy call beacons up to lvl 4. but the beacons just self destruct each time it got planted by enemy.
removed the companion just to make sure but still.
and once the beacon reached lvl 4 nothing happened.

It might be easier to just run Deimos missions. I got a plethora of Fetch mods from running vaults.

You buy it for 3p and spend the time you would waste farming it trying to get plat from cracking relics for example.
