i agree with you the quality dropped because people arent asking for quality *not all* but newer players ask for more frames and items and such so they sloppily give us these *updates*

Likely putting all the effort into working on the large story content that's been teased for months, Warframe 2000-1 I think it was called.

The Sacrifice is my favorite quest. Nothing else is even close.

After Whispers, everything else has been side quests. Not sure what Lotus Eaters was supposed to be. Didn't seem like that needed a quest tag at all.

Because it looks like writers of those quest leave the studio long ago. Its like with necramechs when latest devs dont know what to do with them and just make them as enemy faction. Such thing is seeng in a lot of parts of the game with feeling that people who make it have the idea of what they are doing and how it should work. Then they leave and new devs just dont know what to do with it because they dont know deeper consepts. I'd say this is on of the biggest problem with warframe. There is so much large pieces of content that are never been finished and will never be( hello third sphere from orb vallis) and thats why instead of covering holes in the lore we are giving new one like warframe 1999

Everything that came out before The New War was great, including The New War. But I can't say the same for everything else.

warframe is a dead game for like the last years since the pandemic they sold to the woke homosexuals. chosing divesity and inclusivity over quality and entertainment.

*40,871 playing since 31 minutes ago on Steam alone in the middle of a weekday*

kek

One of the best F2P games today, one of the few good ones that still prioritize player enjoyment. Now what was it about woke stuff?

I definitely don't agree, though its with an asterisk for context for certain ones. Namely Jade Shadows that was said to be short side-story and Lotus Eaters that also was said to be in the vein of the lead-in to New War. I enjoyed Whispers, Angels of Zariman, Duviri, Jade Shadows, and especially looking forward to the big one 1999 that looks fantastic. Between the potential romance system, the setting, the characters, and finding out what's going on with Albrecht (and hopefully finding a way to get him back to Loid).

Which is something that needs to be understood, that currently the major focus is on 1999; the rest is having to fit within that framework. Second Dream, War Within, Sacrifice, and New War compared to Jade Shadows, Angels, Duviri, and Lotus eaters is a false equivalency. They should be compared to quests like Stolen Dreams, Veilbreaker, Call of the Tempestarii, Deadlock Protocol, Prelude, etc. Where they thoroughly shine. The only ones that are on the same level as the first type aka cinematic quests are Whispers which I loved and 1999 which is coming likely in Dec. thus is tbd but still looks amazing.

Last quest I cared for was the new war thing and the story was so obnoxiously bad that I skip every cutscene and dont bother upping the audio to hear dialogue.

There are very simple people in the community that only ever play this game. If you spend all your time in the game and never play any games with a good story or watch movies or whatever then yea, you might think this is good. Unfortunately it's not, just enjoy the game and ignore the story.

It's messy, but sure beats most stories these days. Main problem is that any time they explain something after leaving it vague for years they throw in another plot hook they might explain in a few years.

FFXIV vet here, I think it's just a case of brain drain right now. Just about every story out there is lacking due to not wanting to offend, not wanting to tackle a particular subject, or just flat out incompetence/laziness. I really don't mind if WF's story falters a bit since they don't ask for a monthly subscription. For frick's sake,

XIV SPOILERS!

XIV ended their decade long story by relegating the big bad they hyped up for nearly a decade as a random level 83 boss fight and the goddess of the world was reduced to space rocket fuel to stop a depressed bird you were just introduced in the same expansion. Not to mention the story conveniently ignores the fact your character schooled the big bad that was created by 4/7th of an entire species of beings that can create matter, both living and non living, but a thralled black dragon is too much for your character despite you taking out bigger and worse threats than a dragon and sad guy in black armor (As a fan of FF4, I hated that the post EW content was just "Look, it's Golbez from FFVI and Zeromus from FFVI! Remember, there was a black dragon in that game! Is that the elemental fiends!? :O". Man... I'm glad I didn't buy Dawntrail...
After that giant wet flop of an ending, I really can't say too much against WF's story, lol. Sorry for the rant and thank you for listening to my ted talk.

To be fair, it doesn't look like WF is trying to avoid offending anyone. There's literally a child getting stabbed to death on screen.
