Energy in Warframe
This feels like a really stupid question but i can never get a definitive answer. With abilites being a major part of the gameplay loop, I just want to know how everyone always seems to have so much energy. I have the mods, ive completed new war, i really dont understand what im missing. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

For most frames it's enough for me to have 175% efficiency with Streamline + Fleeting Expertise or 130% + energy regen with Streamline and Energy Nexus.

The few times those weren't enough I added 1 or 2 Yellow archon shards for energy orb efficiency or just added Arcane Energize if it's really bad.

Also you can combine Energy Nexus with subsumed Nourish which buffs all energy gains, including passive regen.

Hunter Adrenaline is another likely mod, great on frames that have a lot of armor or otherwise resistance.

It's a combination of the Warframe, mods, Arcanes and operator abilities. You're also never going to have the same potential energy generation on every single Warframe. If you're asking straight up for an actual build, then you would have to list the Warframes you intend to use, since there is no combination of mods that will work for every single one out there. However, an Arcane and mod for this specific purpose that have, and are seeing wild spread use among many different Waframes, would be the Arcane "Energize", and the mod "Equilibrium".

It kind of depends where you're willing to slot in your energy solution, and what your frame needs.

For mods, Equilibrium is a great for energy upkeep, health orbs also grant you the same amount of energy as they heal, great for frames that are casting a lot of abilities and killing a lot of enemies all at once. Energy Siphon + Energy Nexus can grant you roughly 4 energy a second passively, which is great for frames that only need to upkeep a couple of buffs. Also note that energy regen is disabled while an ability that drains your energy is active.

In your companion slot, Dethcube has access to the mod Energy Generator, which provides some free energy orbs. Add Synth Deconstruct to this alongside an Equilibrium build, and you'll be getting energy back from health and energy orbs your companion provides. Slap AoE damage on the cube and you're set.

Archon shards are another solution as stated above. Yellow shards can make your energy orb drops more efficient.

The Zenurik Focus School allows you to regen energy passively whenever you apply your first Operator skill.

Arcane Energize is an either platinum expensive or heavily time-invested expenditure, but will solve just about any frame's energy problem at the cost of one Arcane slot.

Finally, look at what your individual Warframe abilities can provide as far as universal or individualized energy solutions. As stated above, Grendel's Nourish can be put on any frame, and provides some energy regen. Protea's Dispensary, also great with Equilibrium. Gauss regenerates energy by enemies shooting his shield. Sevagoth with his augments can put Preparation on his Shadow and cast most of his abilities for free through his shadow.

Zenurik, Equilibrium, energy pills, Arcane Energize

Depends on the frame. Sometimes a frame is just fine with +100% efficiency and getting the energy orbs that drop.

Sometimes you need Arcane Energize or Arcane Steadfast. I like Arcane Steadfast on frames that cast a lot of abilities and Energize on frames that don't cast as often but their abilities take a lot of energy(such as when you have lower efficiency). Also make sure you have Flow or max energy shards if you run energize to maximize it's effectiveness.

Some frames like citrine or nezha have abilities that will drop energy and/or health orbs. Using a violet shard or equilibrium will help you sustain energy from picking those orbs up.

There is also options like Energy Nexus and Nourish(subsumed). Energy Nexus will give you energy over time(doesn't work if you have channeling abilities) and Nourish will multiply your energy income, which works on Energy Nexus. This specifically is a very easy way to sustain your energy on many frames and using Nourish also gives you Viral on you and your teammates weapons which can be a big damage boost.

There's a lot of other ways but these are the ways that I like doing things with my playstyle since I don't like changing companions or focus schools.

I'd start with arcane energize which you're gonna be using with 90% of frames. Nothing is gonna give you as much energy and be as handy.
For my Sevagoth I'm using archon shards for starting energy, Photon Overcharge on my Tenet Glaxion and Arcane Energize.

I remember having this problem when I first started too. it's really about gaining momentum in killing stuff and as stuff dies you get energy pickups. I almost always have flow or primed flow in my mods and at least 1 yellow shard that gives 30% energy on mission start (you can do the same with unused mod points). I also like the yellow shard buff that makes energy pickups worth more.

Bind Energy pad to left direction pad on controller or some key on kb. Spam the crap out of it in missions. Everyone insta full.
Make sure to always keep a few thousand crafted at all times.

Zenurik school, energy for days without doing anything special.

It seems no one mentions about the Squad Energy Restore items you can use in the game. People use those for quick energy refill and you can spam them in the game too, however you have a 1 minute delay if you do so in Steel Path. I recommend acquiring the 10x Large Energy Restore blueprint from Arbiters Of Hexis or Perrin Sequence for 25,000 standing at Rank 3, or if you have the resources and a clan, the 100x Energy Restore blueprint from your Clan Dojo's Energy Lab if they have it researched. These give you 100 energy per pulse for 7.5s up to a maximum of 400 energy for 30s

Good idea.

I play most frames with 45% Efficiency from the Blind Rage mod. What I do for energy is orb generation, combined with the mod Equilibrium. I usually use a pet with Synth Deconstruct, and make sure they can hit a lot of enemies (certain sentinel abilities, the new Frenzied Posture, etc) so that enemies always drop a ton of health orbs.
On frames with very high energy cost or *extremely* high ability spam, I'll use a Grimoire with Khra Canticle and Xata Invocation, or just take Zenurik.

Depends on the warframes, abilities, and upgrades available. Some have relied on Zariman Dash in the past, Arcane Energize, Rage/Hunter Adrenaline, and just having a slow energy regen ala Energy Siphon and great reserves/efficiency with (primed)Flow and Streamline or Fleeting Expertise. There are options though some lean more towards some build than others or different play styles. I tended to be more on the Rage/Hunter Adrenaline boat and utilized Streamline and (Primed)Flow for more move use on the cheaper. Warframes like Oberon, Inaros, Chroma, Nidus, or Grendel are pretty solid for such a build but it does use up slots that some might feel are better used in other ways particularly with warframes that hate taking health damage.
