He's usually a Destiny 2 streamer, so to see him go to Warframe was fun to see. :)
Moreover, he's already falling into proper Warframe community guidelines - he didn't spoil anything about the quests and what they unlock.
The two main things I've noticed while helping a friend get into the game were that a lot of the time the tutorials in the game are just one or two sentences shy of being actually informative, and Duviri Paradox being unlocked from the get-go is a horrible decision because it is quite literally obvious how overwhelming it would be for someone who's only just gotten used to the controls of a warframe and has zero idea what is happening in the game otherwise. Hell, they removed Duviri from being one of the starting choices for that reason but still kept it around for anyone who just got past the tutorial to jump right into.
True. Another thing not well explained at all is the Eidolons, as much as I enjoy the fights - now that I know how that they work. To be honest, I really doubt someone would figure out how to do a Tridolon run without being shown how by someone else.
I didn't watch youtubers or have another player show me what to do but I agree, the Eidolons really should have had at least something showing what the situation with Eidolons was, why beating them up was important, and ultimately show what you needed to do to run them. I recall someone saying that around their release too; but I think at least some in the community might have demanded that DE not hold their hands for content that was meant to fill in the Void for Trials. Silly concept that, but it could be DE's excuse with that one at least. I also agree that the new player experience really need improvement.
I mean, Socratetris made a 9 hour long "abridged" video essay to explain to his fiance (now wife) why he plays Warframe 12 to 18 hours* a day.
*I made that up. I am also projecting. 😅
Evidence for a proper argument is important! :D
