Step 2: Move your ethernet wire and that will dissconect any players in your squad if you're hosting, it is a good way of kicking entire squads if someone that you don't like joined your squad or they were being useless.
Note: It also works if you're not hosting, but that will kick you out from their squad instead, which will trigger another game session with only you in the squad, so more people can join that new squad of yours. Edit: Disconnecting and connecting your Wi-Fi also works, obviously.
As someone who doesn't have the fastest system, I see it happen all the time, as other people will leave the group while I'm still loading into the orbiter after a mission.
auto disconnecting from current squad would help you rotate missions faster, they could even implement a choice to stay with member on the reward screen or right click in chat. some players do tend to go afk straight after a mission without leaving the current squad.
I know leaving current squad is super easy with a few clicks but a "auto leave on mission completion" would help with a little more convenience during gameplay that muchly anticipated flowing gameplay.
How about a BIG button to leave during the Reward screen
"Top Changes
...Random Squads will now be disbanded after missions, and only pre-made squads will remain intact after mission completion.
This’ll save those public matchmaking Tenno a couple of extra steps to leave a random squad before hopping into the next mission.
If you wish to continue with the players from public squads , you can always find them in your Recent Players list in the Friends screen. Reinvite them into your squad to continue lifting together without disbandment.
This does not apply to Sorties and Archon Hunts so that squads can remain together for all 3 missions." -Update 38.5: Techrot Encore patch notes.
And i'm playing solo mostly, couldn't have heard it from anyone.
That is great news though. Having to leave the random squad every single mission got old a long time ago. Massive win for DE. Many thanks to the dev team.
