Joke aside, there's no real way to price them, check the market and see what others are charging for theirs / the stats on those rivens and make up a price for yours based on those?
Why do weirdos always choose some arbitrary number. Why 350? Why not 200? Why not 50? Your imagination isnt real life. Some level of supply and demand exist, even if you wish it doesn't. An infinite number of rivens is not available at all times.
I don't disagree with this. There are always those who will pay extreme sums out of laziness or ignorance or wealth. EG a billionaire who played this and loved the game wouldn't care if he spent even $10k on plat and squandered it on whatever, or a raw beginner who bought $50 and overpaid for some quickstart stuff, or the veteran who just said screw it and overpaid because he had sold enough crap over time to afford it and was tired of fighting the system. Whatever.
But when you factor out the above, which of course DOES exist and DOES affect the real values, its still hard for the majority of people to justify paying more for a mod than for an actual weapon or frame, and most of those go for far less than some people want for a riven. Does ANY prime weapon go for over 350? I don't keep up with it, but that seems steep. So while you are right, 100% right, its still hard for a lot of more cautious players to see how that would be a smart buy. I certainly wouldn't pay those kinds of prices for any mod. If supply and demand says otherwise, then find your sucker elsewhere -- it won't be me. The other side is true too... that people may ASK for 5000 for their epic riven, and you may see that as the listed price... but ... yea.
rule of thumb rn is that weapons with incarnon adapters are generally valued highly, melees specially so as some want them as stat sticks for some frames(i.e ceramic dagger or magistar)
there is a dedicated riven listing site but its kinda impossible to take most listings there seriously
I'd give all 100+ of my rivens just to have Itzal's blink returned. That nerf was a real kick in the donk.
What nerf? they gave all archwings a blink instead.
you can try yourself , getting god roll after spend hundred hours and sell for 350p, the reason it expensive because it hard to get exactly stats that you want and if some of those weapons aren't popular it even harder, you may spend thousand hours and get nothing that is the cause.
those trustworthy sold godly Torid riven 20k platinum last week.
They took blink from Itzal, chopped it up into tiny pieces, and distributed the leftovers in the name of inclusion while giving the Itzal the worst arching ability in the game.. a farkin worthless harpoon.
You may think that is the original ability called blink that the archwings have but it is not.
This is easy plat if you have one to sell, because there are people who strongly feels like they have to have the best of the best, only because they can afford it.
Why would you keep a Riven for Torid, when the weapon doesn't really need it at all ?
Do you want to gain 0.04s on the time to kill per enemy ? Well, some people are and will pay good plat for it, evenif the Riven Disposition is doomed to decrease with each further update, given how popular it has become.
Now, if you're talking about other, non-meta, not popular or very niche weapons, just don't bother, as a seller, asking for triple digits number of plats.
I'm constantly capped at 180 rivens and unveil them as I get more but very few of them are actually worth anything so I end up destroying or fusing 90% of them. Rivens are _not_ a good way to make money in 2024. They used to be worth something couple of years ago when unveiled rivens didn't stack. Now they're near worthless unless they're for top meta weapons.
TL;DR Don't price them, don't even try to sell them. If you got no space then get rid of them other way. They're worthless. When you get something valuable you usually know because there are only a handful of valuable rivens: Torid, Verglas, Glaive and a few others. If you got a riven for those weapons then check how much the cheapest one is on warframe.market and give it a similar price.
Information on prices can be found on Discord or Warframe.Market Riven.Market.
Maybe that's what you're looking for. Good luck
coming from a plat whale - rivens are lootboxes for those who got nothing better to do
