It usually depends on how long the prime has been out, and if they are vaulted or not. It's a real, human driven economy. Things change.

Inaros has been available for a while and yet won't vaulted anytime soon.
Most Primes are cheap if they arent vaulted and have been in circulation for a 'long' time... Inaros Prime is one of those.

Once he's vaulted and the stock in the wild dwindles a decent amount his price will go up. Wouldnt see that happening for some time.

Just have to store sets for the future... hell i sold my last Volt set this week for 180p (id been sitting on it for 4 years lol. Could have sold it years back for more), and Volt was 'recently' unvaulted but still got a good price for him, just have to wait for the right buyer in most cases.

One thing ive found with WF trading is, you either can go with smallish but steady plat intake or get a big windfall every so often. Find the middle ground and you'll make a decent amount of plat for all your needs with little effort.

The other thing more and more people realise is that the Primes arent needed. So they have lost some of there pizzaz

Supply and demand. Inaros Prime has been out for almost a year, more parts are entering circulation, less people are after him because more people have already either traded or earned him. And being "unkillable" doesn't really mean as much as you think it does in terms of his market value.

It works both ways; once Inaros is vaulted, his parts will be worth higher as time goes on, but it probably won't budge much until after a few months or a few years

Because there is a large supply and low demand.

As people said, just supply and demand. Inaros Prime has been out for a while, so people have had a lot of time to get supply. They also had a lot of time to get his parts themselves so the demand is low. In addition, Inaros is already tanky, a couple hundred extra health, 25 energy, and 5% sprint speed is not important, and his quest isn't that hard to do or anything, getting specifically his prime version isn't vital or anything. If you want higher priced prime sets, look at the new or vaulted stuff: for example, the newest prime is Gara, and she is priced at about 100 plat. A Loki set, old but vaulted for quite a while, costs about 500 plat right now.

Lastly, without any quantification of details like "back then", I don't think your arguments hold much water. The game has been out for over eight years, an immense amount has changed across pretty much all aspects of the game over time. Comparing an undefined item's price at some point somewhere in the past to now isn't too useful.
Economics.

Supply and demand; less and less Venka Prime parts enter circulation as less and less people bother to put up with Railjack...?

Prices for primes dropped with the relic system making them easier to farm overall generally only very old primes haven't had enough relic saturation to keep prices down Ember prime use to cost 1000p when i first started playing 5 years ago now even the rarest stuff is still cheaper then it use to be

Supply vs demand my dude
Flamboyant Jun 13, 2021 @ 5:17am
It doesnt take much to farm a set these days. Last couple of primes i got by simply opening my relics with randoms, and u can get loads of relics with steel/vitus essence and syndicate points.
Most of the ppl who still tryin to make a fortune on prime sets are blatantly scamming ppl, calling it *the right buyer*. If u really wanna make plat, dont expect getting thousands in one go, sell everything that is still relevant consistently.

I've purchased Ember set for 18 plat, a week after she has been vaulted in 2015.

Prices drop when nobody buy the stuff.
