Speedva (Am i doing something wrong?)
Ok i have been playing warframe for a LONG time and ive always used Nova nad Nova Prime and always been a fan of Slowva and always used her.
but here recently for defense and survival i have been using Speedva to benefit the team.
But when using her ive noticed that when i use her ult (number 4 ability) all the glowing enemies are practically moving at normal speeds.
I seen some Speedvas that make the enemies super fast but all mine just seem to be moving normally (at least visually to me )

My build for Speedva is: Power Donation (aura), Coaction Drift, Natural Talent, Narrow Minded, Molecular Fission, Augur Message, Overextended, Primed Continuity, Primed Flow, and Energy Nexus.

All mods expect for Narrow Minded are maxed out.

And again i seen other Speedvas make the enemies SUPER fast, while mine just casually walk around with no visual speeding up.

Please help me :<

Nova was recently changed to not need differentiation between her builds anymore, at least not concerning slow/speed.

Her 4 was changed to do either depending on if you tap or hold it, so if you want to slow enemies you tap it, and if you want to speed them up you hold it.

You still need ability strength since both are based on that for their % of slow or speed.

So since you have negative strength, you're not doing either anymore.

wait she has her fourth ability as a hold now? since when?
but yes her strength is as low as i can make it so far (which is 10% while not in a mission)

so is there like a happy medium that im missing here?
its honestly been a LONG time since i played (back when Frost Prime was brand new and all the rage and just now got back into the game, so quite a bit has changed)

But what youre saying is, i can use my Slowva and still use her as Speedva?
Even tho my strength is like ridiculously high with my Slowva

right, just hold it down on your str build. But youll want to balance your duration so it hits more guys farther out. Range helps chain explode but its irrelevant to getting them to run in faster.

Absolutely don't do that now. Get 150% strength for max speedup/slowdown. Her Damage Vulnerability isn't affected by strength though.
Also try out Antimatter Drop (recast to launch it!) and the Null Star augment. She's pretty awesome with explosions now.

Slow/speed now doesn't depend on negative strength. tap ability button to slow enemies down, hold it to speed up. both effects depend on streangth, so your build should have 150% str to max it out. Nova got this rework in beginning of october. Had tough time fitting a new build with previous umbra forma. Also 1st ability doesn't need 300% duration for 90% damage reduction. 150% duration or strength should be enough

here's an additional tip. if u play nova mostly for speedva, u can invert warframe controls in options. This way u can tap to speed up enemies and hold to slow them down. This option supports many frames including wisp, protea, gauss, titania, basically everyone who can tap/hold their abilities

i was actually wondering if you could technically invert the casting.
i mostly played Slowva, but recently got into Speedva for the Defense and Survival missions, and holding just feels so unnatural now.
But knowing that you can switch them is a game changer, ill have to do that next time im on!

I always had a love/hate relationship with my Nova frame. Was the coolest looking, especially with Graxx skin, but I could never get a build I loved. The stats always felt like they were fighting eachother... I want less range for Null Star but then my explosions suck etc.

The rework has completely turned it into a Love/Love relationship and Nova is my favorite frame now. It made me very happy reading the patch notes when I decided to pick the game up again last week.
