The new war is stupidly difficult
I have been a die hard gamer since 1982 and the new war is way too hard.
I am currently at the wild hunt section where you have to kill the archon boreal , amar and nira. i have tried desroying all 3 of them and i would say its almost impossible..... 2 hits from either of them and your toast.

Yes i did see the warnings at the beginning saying once you start the new war you cant leave but that said i dont think this section needs to be as hard as it is.

It's about how the initial post is worded. If there's a hint of hostility, the community turns. I've seen it and done it plenty. There would be a massive difference in responses to a post that goes "I'm stuck, am I missing something?" compared to "this game is too hard" because one pushes the blame away from the truly responsible party and pre-rejectd any advice one might offer.

What did I do as a noob? I did my research. I read the wiki. Granted when I started there was no such thing as quests and around level 40 was about the highest difficulty one could see at the start of a mission.

New parts have been added to the game that are harder, but being properly equipped and trained make it as easy as usual. It's a scale relative to the player's capabilities. The new war is just an extension of that and it's on-par for level 60 content. If someone finds it difficult, it is their own fault for being improperly prepared, usually in terms of experience. One of my friends recently went through the new war for the first time. They don't stealth all that great and prior to the new war, level 100 was pushing it for what he was equipped for, to put his experience into perspective. They failed an archon fight and some sneaking sections a few times but they still completed it within the expected 6 hour window.

Warframe is one of those games where you need to ignore the elitism to find the good in it. Usually the players who make fun of you are also the first to step in an help you in this community.

Frankly, because being a snide jerk is easier than solving problems, because it allows a little measure of feeling good about oneself with zero effort.

That aside, when I fought Boreal for the first time, I was often behind cover. It did take me awhile to realize the smoke screen was needed to penetrate the archon's healing force field.

But that tidbit aside, a lot of it is stuff that can't be provided via hints and videos. Your situational awareness and reaction time need to be sharp so you can get to cover, heal, or take your shot when the need and opportunity arises. You lack a warframe's usual mobility, so you have to compensate. You need to practice with the bow to get the sweet spot shot as often as possible to inflict maximum damage when you can. That sort of thing can't really be explained in a forum post or even directly taught. You have to actively train yourself to notice your weak points and correct them.

If none of that is working, then either you're doing something wrong - and that's different from whether or not you think you're doing everything right - or there's a technical issue. In either case, to have any chance of getting assistance, actual, accurate details of your experience need to be seen. Just saying you tried everything tells us nothing. We need to see the details, which means either a recording of your attempts or a lot more description of what you're doing.

Sorry if I'm being snide, but I spent months helping people get through new war and 99% of them just ♥♥♥♥♥ at the game while not even attempting to improve and simply just blaming the game for their own failings.

I never say the quest is easy, but its also not hard. The problem lies in how people approach the fights possibly ignoring all options before them. Seen it time and again. Even screen shared with someone saying they did everything like in the videos, but when i saw them play thry just stood there taking hits and when they did dodge roll their timing was so far off it may as well have not happened at all. At some point I was just wondering if people were trolling me on purpose.

Tge best tips I can give is to keep moving. If you have a hard time, practice this exclusively. There are people (not me) that can beat these bosses without getting hit at all. Next up is the bow. There's 3 ways to fire it. No charge, full charge and perfect charge. Practice perfect charge.

When fighting, keep up the pressure, the longer the fight, the more time you spend and more chance of losing.

Hold up what? I just brute forced my way into boreal's bubbles with combat rolls. Are you saying the smoke screen makes it not push you?

That's how I remember it going. I tried brute forcing it too and kept getting shoved out. It's been a long time, so I may be misremembering, but I know I had to use a power to nullify the field. Once I could do it, Boreal didn't last much longer. Just walk in and blast them each time.

I gave this advice to someone else struggling with new war a while back. It might help here too:

Earlier in the Quest (when you get the Bow), Hunhow gives you a poetic description of how each fight functions with the archons, but the dialogue isn't repeatable later. Here's a link to the Wiki where you can read what he said. Jump to the section "Enemy of my Enemy" / "Meeting Hunhow"
https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Hunhow/Quotes

FYI, you only need to beat 2 of the Archons to move on with the quest. I would suggest Nira the Snake and Amar the Wolf because their mechanics are a bit simpler.

General fighting advice as Drifter:
- Use cover, use cover, USE COVER because walls don't have hitpoints. You are a squishy little human with a sentient super weapon... so try not to get hit. Find a wall, rock, or other object you can sidestep behind while charging the bow and only step out to actually fire the shot.
- Perfect shots are better damage, but a full charge is still good. Try NOT to use quick shots as they have WAAAAAAY less damage and no AoE around them making them harder to aim. The charged shots (both of them) turn the normal arrow into a FAT projectile with infinite body punch through (though not object punch through) which makes it pretty easy to hit an enemy even if you end up shooting just PAST them
- If you end up out in the open and can't get to cover, use the smoke cloud. You're invisible inside it which will make it a lot easier to dodge attacks because they won't be actively aimed at you.
- Hit the heal button every time it comes off cooldown. You can use it while running too.
- I seem to remember the "marking" ability can also highlight weakpoints on enemies for a slight damage bonus? But this might only be in Duviri with intrinsics upgrades... not sure this applies in the quest.

Amar:
- When he splits into the clone Phase only one enemy will have his daggers. Look for the enemy with glowing flaming daggers in his hands and shoot it. The moment he takes damage, all the other clones will vanish
- This is mainly a DPS check fight. If you can keep up your charged shots and roll out of the way of his main charges you should be fine.
- There should be a few rocks you can use to run him in circles if you need to heal or just want to use them as sniping cover.

Nira:
- The biggest danger here is her teleports and the "Paralysis vision" ability.
- When she starts screaming and shining lights from her eyes, make sure you're either behind cover or make your character face AWAY from her to avoid turning to stone.
- The arena is a corpus tileset which means there are pillars and corners to use for cover. Stay near one so that when she teleports behind you (watch your minimap. I played with it popped out on low transparency), you can jump around to the other side of the corner to protect you. Again, WALLS DON'T HAVE HITPOINTS and the boss doesn't have punch through.
I was born in the Jurassic era and the new war was way too easy , increase the difficulty please

It's not that brutal. You just have to play smart, not hard. Remember, you can use smoke to render yourself briefly invulnerable and invisible and that you have a medikit ability. Pay attention to the mechanics of the bosses, then have at them once you've gotten a flow figured out. :)

That skill actually does nothing for the aggro.
It especially does not help when the laser eyes angels segment comes up.
I feel like Mabinogi did so much better in terms of enemy sight mechanics in the Shakespeare RP missions, and that game is much older than Warframe.
What you need to do for one of the main three bosses is to make use of the columns.
But for the electricity one, stay on the rocks.
You won't be able to make use of the explosive barrels due to the need to avoid DPS.
Focus on dealing DPS, then dodge, and listen to some of the hints.
The hints aren't the weak-points, but they do something to make progress happen.
