i really hate mining (Heciphron) RANT

That thing might as well be Unobtainium. FIX IT NOW DE!!!!
After checking patchnotes i noticed it's droprate been reduced by 6%

The Mining drop rate of Necrathene has been doubled! To make this change, Heciphron Mining drop rate has been reduced by 6% to balance the Necrathene increase.
This change is similar to how we increased the Mining drop rate of Thaumica in Deimos Arcana to help alleviate Necramech crafting pain points.]

I highly doubt that is the case. Some sob probably pressed 6 with his Cheetos greased fingers twice and reduced it by 66% accidentally.
Now tell me HOW THE F#$% people supposed to build necramechs now?! in 2 hours i got 3 THREE KARL Tried using both focused nosam cutter and sunpoint drill. NOTHING WORKS!
Are you telling me it's uncommon material? (it's still more common than your W's IRL whoever did that change)
before you tell me, yes i used titania and did this cancerous minigame. didn't work

When I go out specifically for Heciphron, I take the basic Nosam. The Focused Nosam, Advanced Nosam, and Sunpoint rarely cause Heciphron to pop out of teal veins but I routinely get some with the Tier 1 Ostron mining laser.

I do the same thing for low-tier minerals in PoE and Orb Vallis.

This reminded me of when I was searching for tellurium. They should implement some way to transmute and/or exchange materials, since some are obtained in droves... And/or Some merchant that allows you to at least make daily exchanges as happens with other items.

Have you tried looking for it on Baruuk Prime? Be sure to use a blue color palette.

The way I got most of my heciphron was going to the caves on the bottom of the map, only mining blue ones, then going back. Would get 7-12 heciphron in a trip.

Dont they drop from the necramech bounties special puzzle area and from the special pillars you have to activate?

Learn where the Requiem Obelisks spawn and make a route that goes forward out of the necralisk and boomerangs back using the northern section over the cliffs. If you have the game in a fast loading drive, just use the two up front and reload the area if needed.

Look for Fass (lips), Jahu (sideboob), Khra (hourglass, Ris (deer), and Vome (scales), start them and kill the stuff using a decent amp (or a mech once you have one). Should get a bunch of them.

It's how I skipped a lot of the farming when leveling family rep and materials for both mechs. There are some things you definitely need to farm regardless but using the obelisks will help a ton.

You can also do it the "fun" way by farming things in modes you enjoy, selling for plat, and buying mats from Otak or other players.

My best advice is to look up a resource map for the Cambion Drift and go from there. That's really the best way to go at it.
