how do i move warframe to another drive?

i wanted to move it to my hdd but theres no ption to do so. downloading on an hdd is so painfully slow

yes but they want to move it to another HDD. You can move your installed steam games to another folder / storage drive. Warframe on the other hand, since it has a launcher. Have to do it manually

i researched warframe's performance on hdd and the consensus I found is loading times worse (obv) but no stutters in gameplay. I also have heavuer games on HDD that run fine without stutters like rdr2

Depends on the games. If they're hard drive write/read intensive they will have a harder time on a HDD and will run better on SSD. Didn't know there were still HDDs out there to be honest. Can't buy them in the store anymore at least. Must be real old. :)

no, i do install Warframe to my HDD (external HDD) when steam asked which drive i need to put in, i now install warframe to my PC SSD because sometime issue came out when Optimize the game cache.

pardon me i am dumb for a minute there, yes, Warframe game cannot be moved, must be redownload the whole game through its client ,so OP need to select HDD drive to install warframe, and run Update through warframe client.

i have no idea about the cache but the game runs fine and loads fast, even in eidolon. whats the issue with the cache?

its the Optimize game cache at warframe client, sometime when it runs optimize, it got error message saying i am optimize warframe game cache though External drive ,after that i only install warframe on my PC drive.
