Turns out, all I had to do was crouch. Sighs
It can be fixed by crossing teleport threshold (i.e. reaching the zone which will teleport you back on the firm ground, falling in the pit for example). It also can be fixed by dying and getting revived or letting bleed timer run out and spending a revive (naturally, the last part will not work on missions with revive restrictions such as Arbitrations or Deep Archimedia).
