Being replaced constantly and repeatedly by "new blood" while people who have chugged and plugged hours into the game and had been around before Railjack and are losing interest and not finding anything worthwhile to do because they likely already have the loot and/or don't find them necessary anymore all while those under 2k hours are still defending on the forums that "veterans just suck and need to ♥♥♥♥ off if they can't find anything to do in game", all the while a random as all hell mafia ban targeting for the sake of Clan Monopoly? I'll take "Yes" for 1000, Alex.
DE spends it's current budget mostly on marketing but i guess ppl dont stick around for too long judging from my experiences ingame. Most ppl who actually stay play on and off and take long breaks. High player count with little engagement would be very bad for most other games but the gatcha game model is very profitable as i lures especially new players into big spendings while long term players arent likely to spend as much.
But thats just the business side of things. In terms of actual content and engagement this game has been "dying" for a long time. Its clear that the developers are burned out and want to do something else. Cant blame them after 7(?) years on the same project. Instead of focusing on the coregameplay they add more and more fluff thats not warframe and thus not very well received and abandoned soon after release. At this point the gamedesign is without direction and a clear focus. And that hurts everybody involved.
The older devs should just move on and DE needs to get fresh air into the office.
And they really need to start spending on Quality Management. After such a long time there is no excuse for delivering content as unfinished and unpolished as they have been with every bigger release. RJ is a very good example. Never played something this buggy before. And I heard necramechs were just as terrible at launch (took a break during that year. dunno for sure)
Hard to tell what the future will look like but I dont expect a rise in quality anytime soon. We will be able to play for a long time for sure but I actually dont know if I even want to. Once the loot is looted there is little incentive to play. But it will for sure be my go to game for times whre nothing better is around. And I guess thats what most long term players feel like.
Everything in this update is broken or too much easy.
you woke up and chose facts. sadly the game is easy and the combat ai has been dumbed down so much its boring
Not fast enough
Also, i like this answer the most
It's dying .. for them. Heh.
As for me, I enjoyed the game (possibly even more than games I had to pay to get in the first place.) It's heavily farm-y, grindy, a massive time sink, and perpetually troubled by RNG, but what mmo isn't? And, as I mentioned earlier, the game has an active and dedicated dev team seeking to update the game constantly. So, while some level of salt is unavoidable with any great change, I feel you can trust the team to always strive to add new and interesting features to the game.
On the other hand; conclave, the pvp aspect of the game, is straight-up dead. RIP.
