I need a good way to farm toroids....

Go to big compounds only like 4 maybe if I'm lucky

overall hourly farm is very slim

do any of you guys know of a fast good way to get them to appear?

I mean hell sentient farms makes this seem like a piss take

Best way is to go to the three places (Spaceport, Enrichment Lab, Temple of Profit) but the drops are still agonizingly low without a booster

If all you need is standing, the best way to do it is fight Exploiter Orb

Vega Toroid is found in the Spaceport
Calda Toroid is found in the Enrichment Labs

People usually farm these by going to the specific place, and letting the enemy drop alert beacons until the Alert Level gets pretty high.

As mentioned, you can also kill Exploiter or Profit Taker for larger toroids.

Since they are enemy drops, make sure you are running something like Hydroid/Khora/Nekros (or several of them if you get a squad together) with their relevant loot abilities, and if possible do it with a resource booster. It is definitely a pain, but those toroids aren't used for too many things, so if you go all out on it for an hour or two, you'll never have to do it again.

Toroids can be useful for ranking with Vox Solaris and are used for crafting some costumes, and gear but I would second going to those three locations, particularly if with boosters; and then blasting as many Corpus in those locations as possible. If you already have a Necramech, it can be a handy place to level them as well.

Wait for a resource booster (not the probability drop one) and then keep repeating the profit taker bounties part that drops the one you're interested in.
You probably aren't talking about azulite or crisma because they drop with 100% and you probably aren't talking about calda or sola since they drop frequently for what they're worth.
I think you're probably seeking vega since they're needed to advance in early level for Vox Solaris and used in a couple of amps. If you are, then just get good at doing that part 1 bounty as quick as possible.
A couple of tips:
- Use Oxylus for glowing fish
- The base in which to start the defence is always the same, albeit you're far enough from it. So as soon as you get out of the cavern, keep from distance from the base and it will always be the same
- You can actually fail the base-defence part of the mission either by either making the enemy destroy it or by going too far away from the objective (which is waaaaaay faster) and it will actually advance as if you did it

If you instead are just looking for toroids to make some standings in Vox Solaris, I'd advise you to do New War and simply trade in isoplasts (making them from fortuna bounties are way easier than eidolon ones, you can even solo them with a Voidrig).

Farm those, as Pakaku said. Dont wait for boosters. Today, no booster, only smeta cat and after 5 min of farming I had 8 vega toroids. Next 5 min, other place and i had 4 sola toroids. Not much but I only needed 3 of each. And thats 10 min, not month of waiting for booster... weirdest advice Ive heard.

So weird to wait for a booster if you can't buy one instead of spending hours grinding your way through it without one... so weird...
Literally just do anything else, like ranking some weapons or some other syndicate.
You get a different booster every couple of days, wow the tragedy....
Also I've been farming toroids and I never even got a single one after a full day of grinding. On the other hand you can do a mission that only takes 5 minutes and have a 12,5% chance of dropping 3.
