Any way to get rid of a Kuva Lich?
Accidentally killed one not knowing what it was, (returner after a 2 year hiatus) and turns out I've permanently gimped my gameplay experience by having this thing take portions of my loot unless I put in the time to grind for 3 hours to get rid of it. From what I've seen there's no way to get rid of it, but most posts about it are pre-new war.

there is no way to get rid of an unwanted lich yet, apart from killing it obviously

That's unfortunate, I'll just quit again until they add a way to get rid of it. Thanks for the quick replies though

i dont think they will tbh, they mentioning abandoning the prototype for an item/system like this due to increasing the value of duplicate liches

its the "lich be-gone" thing

so yeah i wouldn't count on them implementing this
it's annoying but thankfully having a lich on earth isn't really too big of a deal

I feel like DE are missing the point of a removal feature where it's just quality of life, inexperienced players like myself will activate this and have our experience gimped until we set out to do an arbitrary grind for something we didn't want in the first place. I'm personally not going to grind to be able to grind again imo

it'd be nice to remove them but if they're just stuck on earth i don't think you will be losing much to them lol unless you manage to get a last sortie mission on earth
i highly doubt they're enough to gimp your experience significantly

kill or convert m thats the only way to get rid of a lich
but you need the right combination of requiems first

This means that Warframe is not the game for you.
Donitsi Jan 26, 2022 @ 10:35pm
You may quit the game entirely then if you can't bear to kill the Lich and take back the loot that it it has stolen. They will never let you simply remove your Lich because trading them would become pointless.

It doesn't take days or weeks to kill it and it's not end of the world to try other parts/ features of the game.

People will be willing to help you or carry you if you ask, and if not, ignoring the lich isn't going to ruin the game anyways

exactly , it can stay on one place and you will never notice when you avoid it
another option is you scare him to saturn proxima and forget that he ever existed

Just play and forget it exists. The amount of loot he takes from you is minimal and not gamechanging so this argument does not hold any value.

"Oh no, the game has SYSTEMS. ABORT! ABORT!"

Gotta love Warframe player elitism. The system itself isn't the problem, rather that it's very easy to fall into it without knowing what it is. This kind of system is something that you should not be able to do mistakenly. It's something you should have the ability to go out of your way to do rather than have it arbitrarily interfere with core gameplay.

As many in this thread have pointed out, 'you should just quit.' Which I fully intend to do now since I somehow don't believe this will be the final obtrusive trap of a gameplay system.

I had a lich for almost a year. I quit and came back and it was there. It was so annoying how much it talked in the navigation screen when I was looking at planets. It couldn't be ignored.
