Too many login failures

I haven't played warframe at all even though I made a account for it 1-2 years back but when I try to login, it says that I have too many login failures even though I know my password and such and right now this is frustrating to me because I just want to play warframe with my friends.
I need help.

Other than that do a reset password for you account.

dude same omg, i literally had the same problem an hour ago, logged on for the first time in over 1-2 years and got login error, i reset my password and it said that my password was still invalid even after i reset it, and when i login on the website it shows that my name is something to do with nature and it makes me wonder if someone else created an account with my email because that was NOT my name on Warframe.

Now warframe is stuck in the "checking for update" screen and wont load.

Same here. -.- somehow I cannot access my old account, can't even reset the password. I created a new account for testing and now I get the too many login-failures error... :(

warframe accounts that are inactive for extended periods of time are automaticly locked by DE. reseting the pasword will not work. you have to contact DE customer support to fix it.

When I first tried to contact support via the website I got a message that I can't do that because I was not logged in... o_O

Now The Website ist kinda not responding/offline and the launcher is stuck in the checking for updates mod...

Has that been normal for Warframe, lately?

Had the same problem. My only guess its a ip ban. After a few hours it worked again and I created a new account and now its working. Dont think its wrong to create a new account to solve this matter, opinions may wary.

Yeah it's not exactly a problem, it just looked weird to me.

Also, the website still seems to be offline and my launcher stil stuck in the "checking for Updates" part.

Oooooh the launcher just did something new. "The Content Servers are unavailable" The Website seems to bug out whenever I want to log in...

No it's not wrong to create a new account. After all... how else can you lodge a ticket when you're locked out of your account? Catch-22.

PS Am able to log in / play the game as I type this, you might have a connection issue.

Well, there's something. After all the failed patch attempts I figured I'd verify the game files via Steam, as the same function provided by the warframe launcher wouldn't do anything.

At first try I got 69 files that had to be reaquired (totalling 10GB), I couldn't log in after that either, but at least I got a clue as to what could be wrong.

After that first revalidation attempt I decided "screw all the launch as admin options" and went for the basic x64 launch as provided by the warframe launcher. That didn't work out at first, BUT I decided to validate my game files via Steam a second time. On that second try I had 49 files that had to be reaquired (just a few MB this time).

And after that was done, everything worked like a charm. Both my accounts (old and new) were accessible, not even the game crashes some people seemed to experience when using the x64 launcher.

I didn't test if I can loggin on the website again, but then... I don't want to I'm not here for a website.
