Argon scope explaination?

ok i already gave up farming one, so i traded one from a lucky as-hole, and i place it on my Soma P, so how does it work with that 135% critical chance? i dont really get it yet, my soma already has 75% crit chance, and how about another 135%? like this? (75%+ (30% X 135%) ) = 114.5%? so i managed to see the red crit, but not often, should i add the critical delay on it? and when the mod activated for 9 seconds, does it make different when i am not aiming? since it said "while aming"

Argon Scope, as any other critical mod, calculates it's chance from base stats. I'd suggest to use Warframe builder (or just a regular calculator) to properly calculate the increase in damage with critical delay on (or lack thereof). I personally see it as a good replacement for Heavy Caliber for critical weapons.

Calculating the crit chance:
Base chance*(1+mod chance)
So, assuming you also have Point Strike on:
30%*(1+2,85)=1.155=115%
Reading Wiki doesn't hurt.
I don't get why is everybody so excited about the fact that you can now red crit with Soma Prime. Tonkor does it way better.

You only get the bonus applied when you're aiming.

Pretty simple - not everybody uses Tonkor and/or likes it. I personally prefer bows and assault rifles with Shred on, so for me - this mod is absolutely great. Tonkor is powerful but... kinda eh. Best explanation I can produce - eh.

Have you ever considered that pink tight bodysuits are at least somewhat waterproof? You could fill it with ramen and bathe in it, while at the same time wearing a suit.

Remember multishot boosts the chance of a crit in stats. The chance for that red crit on a soma is not that high.

No, it unfortunately doesn't.

It boosts the likelihood of a crit because the second shot is not a duplicate entity. Which appears to boost the stats. Not the serverity.

edit: Sorry I was still thinking before U17 (I guess it was). it no longer shows a false increase. It still does for status chance though.

The 2nd shot is just a 2nd shot. Double the damage, but not the crit chance.
