You can use it as a utility as well. Use it on an Arctic Eximus unit to freeze enemies, or on a Shield Osprey to boost your shields.

Apparently the only one that ever played a Nyx instead of going ham at strong words like a nancy. The 3 is 90% of Nyx, and even then, its hardly flawless, isn't the chaos random? they can still shoot you by chance. A level 150 shooting you at random means dead.

"proper build" is the same build you'll already be using to have duration efficiency and range on chaos, so nothing difficult to achieve there, but you now do no damage, and its a bad panic button because of how it ruins your entire pool based on the damage you're taking.

Valkyr does it better, even Rhino probably does better.

So theres great CC, and no damage. Well heck, sounds like what i stated when the thread started. Theres just as good CCers, that still put out damage in the process. From there, if Nyx is your favorite, go crazy with it, enjoy. The state of the game and warframes won't change anytime soon cuz of it tho.

Her 1 is straight up mind control, which can be used to protect yourself, tank for you, deny any damage from that source or just have a friend if you're lonely.

Clearly its you that doesn't, as you try to make yourself sound smart. Saying i don't know what im talking about is not an opinion, but an assertion. Affirmation.

Opinion is not certainty, but a view. Its saying "i think Nyx is the best, i love Nyx". There is no debating an opinion. If you want to show me wrong tho, i have shadowplay for capture, do you have means of capture? then propose a scenario, and you'll see why warframes like Nyx are still just middle of the table.

And i understand that completely, i gave Nyx some two months worth (another) try just recently. You know, when you're sorta bored with all the others and wanna give something fresh a go.

She WILL control anything in a room, like 55 meters worth of it, but thats where it stops. And "endgame", others like Equinox are percentage based just the same, if you kill ONE high level you stack a ton of damage. If you're doing one of the weird sorties vs augmented shields, for example, its even more damage per mob. So you disable them all for as much as you can reach for quite a bit, now jump right into the middle of all that and detonate that million damage. You tell me what happened.

Nyx is far from the only endgame warframe, and is certainly not the best. Besides, you're taking to OP, thats who you have to prove "Nyx is any good", to someone that just now building hes first few meaningful warframes. He won't exactly be the most successful in the group.

Monocular? I.E. turns people into piles of monocles?
If you meant molecular - that's Nova. She's animatter themed frame and even description of some of her abilities states that her targets are dissolved to sub-atomic level.
