Purple Crit
Ive been seeing these a ton lately, are they status red crits or a level beyond red crits? post ur thoughts on this down below :D

purple damage numbers means you are hitting a target with overshields. mostly it just happens as a graphical glitch of some variety, or when certain mobs huddle around a shield drone for awhile.

I'v seen them mostly on corpus units. When i kill them with toxic damage (bypassing shields) purple numbers appear as a separate damage indicator. So i guess this is a number of 'wasted' shields that are just depleted upon death of the unit.

Overclocked Redcrits are just that - extemely high numbers that are still red. purple are shields of killed enemies.
