How is Alad V still alive?

After several thousand players farmed the same boss over 50th time.

We may never know, BUT he did gain his cure and owe a favor to the lotus that he repaid, and now after he is finaly fully free of the infested and did some dangerous work for the lotus again our annoying pain in the ass but useful new ally Alad V is calling in the favor we owe him for the events in second dream.
