Things to buy with 10 bucks?

i am rather a newish player to warframe and got 10 bucks wich i want to spend on warframe,
question is whats the best things i shoud / can get for that small ammount of money ? a whole warframe? weapons?
i dont want to buy skins since they are not going to do anything rathert then looking better

You should wait until you get a 50% or 75% off reward for platinum. You will get much more bang for your buck this way.

If you want to spend platinum on equipment, I would say use it on Ivara and Mesa, as they're both rather annoying to get. Use whatever you have left, in combination with your starter plat, to buy frame and weapon slots. Two extra sentinel slots wouldn't hurt either.

The only frames worth platinum are Vauban, Nezha and maybe Mesa because they are very hard to get. When I say "hard" I don't meant the difficulty. I mean how much time you may have to spend OR wait. Mesa I got in 3 runs but everybody isn't that lucky. Vauban took me 6 months because his parts drop in alert missions only and I was always sleeping when the last part was in Alert.

The other frames are fast to farm.

Generally speaking you want to get slots, but only as you need them, do not stock up on unused slots. Maybe a potato or two, but it's again not fully advisable, as potatoes can be obtained from Gift missions, random alerts and often from invasions. If you find yourself stocked up on stuff you need - go for stuff you want and buy a scarf or two. Also buying Saturated and Smoke color palettes are a good call, as they give you a lot of variety for customization. Also, always have a small stash of platinum ready for unexpected situations. Most of it will come from trade anyway once you get a bit more powerful and start farming the Void.

Hello, in my opinion, I think firstly you should wait until you have a 50% or 75% discount coupon as said by others before buying platinum. About the things you should buy, I recommend you to buy weapon slots and warframe slots as they are the only thing ( besides those beautiful skins and color packs ) can be purchased only using platinum. You start with 8 weapon slots and 2 Warframe slots which could be easily used up as you advance through the game ( there will be things you want to keep ). You can buy 2 weapons slots with 12 platinum or 1 Warframe slot for 20 platinum.

This is just an opinion though, if you don't feel like grinding you can also trade for Nezha parts through the chat instead of buying it through the store as most of the times its quite cheaper through the chat. You can get vauban parts through "alerts" or time-limited missions that happen randomly throughout the day. You can get Mesa parts by defeating Mutalist Alad V ( or the harder version of Alad V, a boss ).

The choice is up to you, its your platinum anyways. Good luck and have fun in Warframe. Sorry if I offended any person, I don't meant to.

Vauban - yes, I agree. Nezha better bought in parts from another players, prices went down recently. Mesa - only matter of coordinates, which are not really rare or hard to get, and may be bought for plat or two as well.

Any idea how much Nezha is now because i really want her but the grind was ridiculous. Also i would say slots are the main thing to get. Also if you want a top tier secondary lex prime is cheap and really good right now. It was like 20 plat.

But in general, his prices somewhat stabilized now. I'm pretty sure I've seen someone buying the set for about 60p.

For Mesa, it isn't so hard to get the nav coordinates anymore. They also drop from Orokin Derelict Survival rotation B. So they can be farmed now instead of only waiting for invastions that offer it.

They drop from hive caches too ? I do those missions all the time, never gotten a nav from them.


As for waiting for 50-75% daily reward login.... how much patience do you have as a gambling man? That can take a very long time to get based on pure luck. You could lose interest in the game before that happens and that $10 ends up getting spent somewhere else.


The bigger question however:
You're a new player. You don't need Mesa,Vauban, Nehza right now anyway! The frames you can get by farming bosses are all good enough for all basic mission needs. Your money is indeed better spend on frame/weapon slots.

It might not be as healthy as Warframe, but it could be more fun than spending the same 10 - 15 minutes that you would otherwise have spent farming Draco.
