What is the difference between ''Secret mercy'' and normal mercy kills?
Related to sister of parvos and lichs

Tbh +1 on that i dont get them kills either, why are they called MERCY kills when they look way more brutal than just shooting them down

Probably just indicates that there's more involved than just the mercy. First Lich/Sister mercy spawns them in your system. Next ones require Requium. Final mercy is a choice between slaying or recruiting the Lich.

Honestly, after I got one of each gun; I never felt the need to really try to get their percentage higher. I just started collecting Kuva Liches for a while. Part of me really hoped I could make better use of them as NPC allies or something; maybe fully crew my Railjack or use them as some kind of kill squad call in like Assassin's Creed; I don't know. At least some of them looked cool or had sweet names. I think I also prioritized ones with certain looks or empherma, wonder if the infested boy band will be worth doing anything near that level of attention for?

The only difference is that you get a little progress to the next requiem mod from secret mercies, which you do not from regular mercies.

IIRC the term referred to finishing off a gravely wounded opponent with a dagger, back when it was all knights in full plates. "Mercy" was killing them instantly inatead of leaving them incapacitated and slowly bleeding out.

You shove your paragon into their head and pull out their 'secrets'. That secret, the weakness of the nemesis (oh, wait that's a trademark...), is their burden you relieve them of (and their life).

Tenno aren't nice people...

Well, there's also "capturing" where the Tenno forcibly converts a being from matter into pure data by disintegrating their body.

Insane how every single awnser is either nothing to do with the question or straight up nonsense

You are asking about the differences between two actions that are, for all intents and purposes, identical. If you want sensible answers, start by making a question that allows for them.

i copy this from somewhere :
Normal mercies happen on regular enemies when they're a touch away from death. So you will rarely be able to do them.

During lich missions, once you deplete a thrall's health, they become open to a "secret mercy", which is functionally the same as the normal mercy. When you kill them with it, they give you requiem murmurs.

A secret mercy is a normal mercy that targets lich/sister candidates and their minions. This has been stated before. What more do you want?
