I thought that was a cute use of Trent's music there. I was surprised to hear his licensed stuff rather than a DE cover but it did make the moment sound more authentic to the time I guess.

That DE used Into The Void for the intro to Arthur and the 1999 reality was actually perfect.
I suspect Trent Reznor helped out the sound team with the music for 1999, since quite a few of the songs played during the gameplay demo definitely felt like they had a hard industrial rock influence to them. Not complaining, mind you.
Personally, I'm waiting for those tracks to be released on Youtube.
