The % displayed in the buff icons section is only related to Mind Control.
This is an old set-up, but that should still do the trick :
Apply 10 stacks of radiation first. = (550% damage)
Cast Equinox's 2 "Rage" (day form) = depends of your Strength
Cast "Mind control" (with augment ofc)
Then :
¤ Headshot with a sniper (modded for max crits dmg and headshot multiplier)
or
¤ Headshot with anything else modded properly
or
¤ Heavy Attack with a Raw Damage focused melee "stat-stick"
Not the most smooth gameplay.
You mean Viral stacks?
No. Radiation status. It does boost damage of confused ( = under radiation status) enemies versus eveyone else.
Then maybe Mind control removes status now ? (if so then, this won't work)
As the controlled guy got grey-health, this used to "save" the status on them, affecting them but being on "pause".
I can't remember, it's been a while. As I told you, it's an old trick. This was used to add another layer of damage without going through the Mind Control augment feature.
Note that viral could work, with armor strip. This should boost the damage done right after casting Mind control+augment.
OOOOOOHHHHH, i understand the trick now, question is just finding a weapon i can use to apply radiation stacks and not kill the target i want mind controlled..
Forget about Radiation, the stacks decrease quickly.
Priming with viral doesn't seem to actually bump the damage that much.
Armor Strip works.
Now, weapon wise ;
- melee heavy attacks seem to be the most reliable and easy to use. 2 heavies guaranteed on 2handed weapons. May reach 3 attacks with non 2handed weapons.
- very fast melee weapon light spam works, but results are less optimal. You would need a stance that has multi-hit + no mometum.
- The sniper did good but, the mind-control animation makes it very hard to perform more than 1 headshot. I tried the Perigale (burst) and it was ok-ish but it's not worth the trouble.
- Very fast fire rate + huge n# multishots on a shotgun (Felarx) also proved reliable. A bit less dmg than heavy melee.
Equinox's Rage is still very good. you boost the dmg (thanks to vulnerability) and then the enemy has increased speed ( = more fire rate for your puppet)
i did find arca triton as a possible use, but the builds all recommend using Loki with mind control (something something invisibility damage) , so it defeats the purpose for me to use on nyx since i can't have access to that, and i already subsumed nyx 4 for Banshee silence
I don't really want a Hyper-focused mind control build, just a weapon that CAN make mind control almost usable
if you want my logical answer: play xaku or revenant, as they are basically just better nyx's at this point. nyx is unlikely to recieve any buffs or a rework due to the fact reb likes her
if you want an answer to your question, i'd probably suggest a riven'd kuva hek will all the multishot you can fit on alt fire, or a heavy attack focused melee
also, if you need stealth to make arca titron work, but don't wanna use helminth, try the shade sentinel. it'll cloak you till you attack if enemies are nearby
Outside of that, I picked up my Nyx during a circuit playing with a Dread Mirror build Garuda and got over hundred millions of percent (sadly, the target was still useless).
