Melee Crescendo& ground finishers still work?

had a build that was working just fine a while ago:
-use Vazarians Void Snare to ragdoll enemies
-do ground finishers to stack combo for Crescendo
when I tried it today it doesnt work for some reason, did they changed something?

It works.

Try pressing E (or your finisher button) instead of the basic melee attack. This ensures the game doesn't accidentally melee instead of prioritising finishers.

I just saw that there should be a context window if you get close enough, I can see orange indicator that they are open to finishers but the context window doesnt appear no matter how close I get.
*there is no finisher keybind option

It will be the same key you use for Parazon finishers. I don't know if a button prompt does appear for ground finishers - at least I never see one. I just spam E on downed enemies; though make sure you aim your cursor at them properly.

You can just use the normal attack button while aiming down at them, but it's finnicky and too often just does a normal attack.

Yes I found the problem, before the update the normal melee key worked, now only the 'context action' key works.
When I checked the update notes they showed that there should be a context window that shows the key when you get close enough.
