It seems like the palette is a swatch off or something, as a lot of the time I can fix the match with a darker/lighter version of the same color (making the 2-tone sets pretty handy lol). Potentia for example helps on lighter blues while the "Darkness" or whatever the blue into black is called helps on the darker ones.
It seems to come out the more "mixed" a color is to your point, like using a light yellow and gold on the torso results in a nice golden flame visual, but the Syndana was more like powder yellow, so I adjusted the lighter color to fix it.
At this point, I am playing this more for fashion frame than actual missions though, so it's aight
so i still can't realize, how's color "mixing" works?
For example, with the Ember Heirloom skin, the :
Emissions - This is the usual lights, but having 2 colors does not seem to work like other instances. Generally it should "pulse" between the two, with the second color being less prominent. For this skin though - it seems to only really use a blend of the two or just the primary one if the second color becomes too dark.
Energy - I like it for the most part here; the primary color is the "skin" (think color inside the actual body - this will make sense in a moment) and the second color is the "shell". If you where to say, pick "Red" as primary and then "Black" as secondary, you would end up with a red sorta mistiness with a black "PVC" or "Pearlescent" effect.
I did one yesterday that was supposed to be "80s Megenta and Cyan" and the colors clashed hard, so the skin instead shows hot pink up close and cyan as you get farther away...
For her fire - it is meerly Primary = inner flame color, Secondary = outer flame; so ultimately because the "skin" + fire is controlled by the one set of colors, this is probably what is making it weird.
Edit : Or here is another example, "Conguest" has teal swatches, pair a darker one as primary with a lighter one from the same palette or something more cyan, and it basically makes a sort of "sentient glow"
But I did just grab some screens and post them regarding what I tried describing above. I guess the Cyan + Magenta wasn't as bad as I thought, but it still looks odder than I hopped.
