did they remove the duviri path in recent updates?

made another account on the mobile port and saw that it went straight to the whole sequence with the flower girl and vor instead of givin g you paths to choose. don't know if its just specific to that port but its about time if they did remove it

Duviri is still there and available, its just no longer a starting path for beginning the game.

Yeah... I think the devs realized it wasn't a great idea for new players.

It's still a good idea to do it right after you're done with Vor's Prize. It gives you access to resources that are difficult to come by otherwise until you've cleared the star chart teaches you about the synergy building that all loadouts are founded on, and tells a little story about self-mindfulness and escaping destructive cycles. It was a very good foot to start a new player off on, but people just don't like change.

I thought The Duviri Paradox was pushed behind the Uranus Junction relatively recently, in which case you would have to do a lot more than just Vor's Prize to reach it.

Well, they likely want content updates to feel like they flow in a narrative of sorts; but maybe making it so you could do normal stuff if you got burned on some aspect of New War before continuing to finish it would be a good touch for at least some of the playerbase.

that's unlikely to change since New War is a story progression thing, so they can't exactly put later story before it.

Imagine a new player downloads the game chooses Duviri then gets hit by the billion other systems the game has all at once thinking they progressed a lot with Duviri but in reality they haven't done 1% of the game :p

It's better this way
