I would say the new event but i dont believe you have the map unlocked all the way up there. But if someone can taxi you go for it. You get lots of cash from there and you get motes for Arcanes
I would also say to run lith relics and sell any extra Harrow parts you get, but yet again, you are new and i dont think you will have any Lith relics stocked.

For now, just run regular missions and open the map as much as you can.

As a side note please at least tell people which is the latest planet you unlocked.

That early, probably whatever Dark Sector mission you feel like doing; the missions on each planet that have Infested enemies and give bonuses to affinity and resources. For example, Coba and Tikal on Earth give 12,000+ credits per completion, and if you've gotten as far as Ceres, you can get 20,000+ from Gabii.

As post above says, Dark Sector missions on any planet. If you have access to Ceres, do that one. If not, whatever highest level planet you have unlocked will do.

Pardon the french, but what exactly are "Dark Sector" missions upon planets?

If possible I'd like a more accurate description than the ones being given in here.

They're the missions that have a lotus emblem on them, they're at the ships floating around the planets in the star chart, they always have an affinity bonus, a drop bonus and an extra affinity bonus for kills with one kind of weapon I.E. kills with pistols, with shotguns, etc.

One other thing is they are always infested nodes on non-infested faction planets

Although I'm highly dounting if I ever saw one of those Lotus symbols near any planet to begin with when I'm using the Navigation on the broader Star Chart scope. I.e., apart pin pointing specific mission types like Syndicates / Fissures (for cracking Relics), specific timed events, etc. etc.

There are 2 of those on every planet at all times. Here's a screenshot showing how they look like:

If you can get there via taxi, Hieracon on Pluto is an endless drill mission. By completing only one drill and extracting rewards about 25k credits. Rinse and repeat this. With credit booster you make 50k each run.
About 3 min to run if efficient, 5 if not.

Do one index mission with someone to unlock the node for index, the lowest tier can be done with pretty much any equipment.

A friend of mine just started playing a few months ago and I'm pretty sure he couldn't access the Index himself until he completed the quest for it (Glast Gambit). I could taxi him, but he had to unlock Neptune + run the quest before he could start the mission without me.

Dark sektor missions.
iirc most give 20k on mission completion. Just run 1 wave i.e 5mins and extract. Rinse n repeat.
At least that's what i did when i was new
