ocucor vs torid

what's better for general use and should i buy sentinent surge for ocucor if i have fully built torid incarnon

Sentient Surge is a must-have for Ocucor. You'll never reload when you have this mod (except you're fighting the boss that doesn't have minions). It'll keep your Tendrils active at all times.

Incarnon Torid is more general use than Ocucor. It can deal with groups of enemies in both forms and can deal with a single target rather well in incarnon form. You also charge incarnon very easily because you don't have to get headshots.

IMO, I think if you have Incarnon Torid, you don't have to use Ocucor. You also don't have to worry about Torid ammo reserve. Because you can keep incarnon form active almost all the time. I think I only have to get a body shot 2-3 times to fully charge the Torid.

But Ocucor is very good at seeking enemies. If your playstyle is only pointing the gun toward the enemies' direction and seeing damage numbers. Ocucor is your best choice here. You don't even need to target enemies, the Tendrils will seek the enemies for you.

sorry but this is out of topic, is it still possible to get Torid Incarnon? i just got back to the game recently and im not sure how to get it. I have cleared The Duviri Paradox and quite lost from there on

Incarnon from Duviri is on a rotation. Each week, a new set of incarnon will be replaced with the previous one. I think there are a total of 7 incarnon rotations set right now. You can check the reward rotation in the wiki.

Right now it should be at Rotation 1 while Torid incarnon is at Rotation 5. So you'll need to wait for 4 more weeks for Torid incarnon to be available to select.

If you want a recommendation for what you should acquire first for each week. **Based on my playstyle. I don't use melee weapons. So some melee incarnon that might be very strong is not on my recommendation list**

week 1: Braton and Lato.
week 2: Boar and Gammacor.
week 3: Latron and Strun.
week 4: Bolter and Lex.
week 5: Dual Toxocyst and Torid.
week 6: Soma and Burston.
week 7: Zylok and Despair.

This is uncertain since the next batch of incarnons are being prepared as we speak and will likely mingle with the rest at one point.
