Cheap ahhh price buyers

Like the title above, why do people in trade always want to buy item at mf cheap price, almost unreasonable prices... Like gauss, someone want to buy it for 50p???? ♥♥♥♥ with that, I don't know if they are serious or joking, but this is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

Also, I hate the type of person who wants to buy cheap item and and if they want to sell something, it will definitely be expensive ♥♥♥♥. Damn you

50p is not unreasonable for gauss right now. There are lots of people on warframe.market selling it for that. It was just unvaulted, so it's going to be cheap for a while. Same thing happened to revenant.

The individual pieces of gauss are technically worth 45p, if we're going by junk prices. Sounds like YOU'RE the one who doesn't know what stuff is worth.

the only point of ingame trade chat is to buy cheaper/sell higher than wf.market

and i say 65p on that website sounds pretty fair asking for 50p ingame trade. dont like it? dont use ingame trading its that simple! my first warning i give every new tenno, avoid trade chat and always use that website its there for a reason.

Basic economics. Law of Demand. Is Gauss Prime being demanded a lot? Lower platinum price. If Gauss Prime isn't being demanded by the masses for a while now, then platinum price increases. Although as of writing, the cheapest set is 55p rn. He's being sold cheap because a lot of people don't want to deal with relic grinding so they turn to the market instead when Gauss Prime was released.

Isn't it the other way around?
High demand increases the prices (given a steady supply), while lower demand decreases the prices?
If nobody wants to buy something, then I would not suggest increasing a price...
In turn, if everyone wants the same thing, then the price will increase.

But yeah, trade chat is mostly a waste of time, but you can find some good deals from time to time. I got a glaive prime set for 300 plat back when the cheapest on WFmarket was about 750 plat.

You may want to check your links again. Perhaps there has never been one that SOLD for 50p, but there are a few listed at 50-60p. The people who have them listed are just offline right now.

No, but 50 is a reasonable call offer when the average is 60-65.

Awhile ago he was worth more, I farmed a bunch of sets for him and sold them for like 60 or 75. The price naturally goes down after some time. Less demand for the item. I typically sell a bit cheaper than the average price, like 5 or 10 plat less, because people will actually buy it much faster.

But soon Gauss will only be worth like 50p on average. Like other warframes that have been out for awhile and are unvaulted: Hildryn, Revenant, Khora, etc. They're all dirt cheap. Don't farm them if you don't want to sell it for a low price, because that's all you're gonna get for it. But with Gauss, you could still sell him for 60p. Just ignore the idiots that offer lower. If you look at the market, people are selling him for 65 to 70p, so you can get 60p no problem.

But yeah, it's mostly new players that offer dirt cheap prices, they have no idea about prices. I've seen quite a few high level players, like legendary, who offer crap prices as well. They just trying to scam new players I imagine.

that's how business works, if you're not ok with the price they are asking, just don't buy/sell them anything, because if their prices are actually "a joke" they won't be able to sell/buy nothing, so that shouldn't be bothering you.

And if they actually can make those deals, that means the prices are just because people are ok with that, and that shouldn't be bothering you neither
