difference between 2.1B and -2.147.483.648 damage numbers?
I tested with 2 builds: the stronger build (Mirage-Eclipse) only shows the normal 2.1B or lower and never -2.147.483.648
The weaker build (Saryn-Toxic Lash) also shows 2.1B or lower and sometimes -2.147.483.648

-2.147b means you hit the max and overflowed the integer. Not sure how warframe handles integer overflow. It probably just counts as max damage. But hitting max sometimes isn't as good as hitting almost max quickly.

Hitting numbers like that. You folks are too good.

Awesome though. It would be cool to see every enemy melt with those damage numbers, will check youtube.

It's not worth the trouble. It's more of a funny thing you can do. But you have to fullfill like 10 different requirements (roll, jump, wall latch, headshot, swap weapons, etc) just to deal that kind of damage for 3 seconds. realistic damage is more like 100k if you have a fairly well optimised setup.

Yes thats what I thought too, but the Mirage build is a lot stronger (atleast pure initial damage) so my guess was if one of these two builds should show minus numbers then the Mirage build.
edit: or could the extra damage instance of Toxic Lash cause the overflow? with Mirage its always a single hit per enemy.

Damage cap is weird.

Sometimes it deals damage, sometimes it doesn't. Depends on how the game decides to handle it.
Fun fact:
I was in a curcuit with a friend and he got dmg cap with stalker 4th ability pretty consistent.
When he hit for a few billions he went to like 80 to 90% dmg dealt. The next ability cast went integer overflow and he went back down to 0% dmg dealt. It was a constant up and down between 80%+ and 0%.

So yeah, hitting dmg cap makes the game behave inconsistent and you actually should avoid it if you are playing longer missions, there is always the possibility of crashing the game with integer overflows.
