But if you REALLY want to buy it, buy the Voidrig, no competition.
Bonewidow's overall ability kit does feel more in sync, they all contribute towards the sword ability in one way or another. Voidrig's abilities feel kind of thrown together and not so great, except for the turret ability which is 99% the point of playing Voidrig in the first place
Bonewidow also has a shank ability that can be used to heal, and it disables the shanked enemy (really useful for denying laser Sentients in Orphix missions.) Voidrig cannot heal, only put on a pseudo-Iron Skin, so it won't regain any health lost between IS uses. But then again, being better at healing is a bit of a waste on a mech with an inferior 4th ability
But if you absolutely must do the new war, it would still be better for you to just wait for them. Don't grind them, just don't bother looking at them as necessary until you manage to get the parts by luck.
There is no reason to buy or play either of the necramechs. Even the requirement of them for the new war isn't really a reason. And you will understand some day in the distant future after you finally build one why I say there is no reason, even for the new war.
Voidrig is high damage. Good for eidolons, isovaults, and orphix.
Bonewidow is high sustain. Good for bounty grinding. Dominates railjack survival.
Both are vicious as hell with a maxed kuva ayanga.
DE reduced the costs building a Voidrig a few weeks ago so it can be aquired much faster.
But it seems Voidrig is the better mech (at least for general purpose) and it also comes with one of the best weapons.
And for the new quest: DE added the requirement just to keep more players off the quest - it is used for about 5 minutes and the section could have been done with a regular Warframe. Also how the section with the necramech ends is disapointing.
