Duviri is hot garbage

So, having just recently come back from an extended break starting right before Duviri launched, i can confidently say, im never EVER finishing this ♥♥♥♥.

its a fundamentally different gameplay loop to the core of the game, and having played for so long my ingrained habits from the core of the game are actively making my experience terrible because trying to play the game in the way i enjoy, leads to endless deathloops.

Agree it sucks. It is not warframe it their attempt to create interest in Soulframe. their other project is souls mechanics in the warframe universe... lame af.

Keyword is "little". Archwing gameplay is switch. Operator (normal operator) gameplay is switch. Heck, even Necramech is switch, but still feels like part of game. Duvuri is just OUT OF PLACE.

true, but you dont really have play it. like i dont like doing eidolons, so i dont. thats one of the good things about this game is that not every peice of content is neccesary to do

the circuit is close enough to actual warframe gameplay, besides you dont have to go far you can just do 1 round and then exist over and over again. and im pretty sure 90% of things that are bought with clamps can be bought with plat

Dude. Circuit <> duviri. Circuit makes no problem, its just altered core gameplay. Problem is duviri, when you playing dumbed version of operator.
And about bying for plat - to craft incarnons, you still need freakin resources. Outside of duviri, you either get moderate chank of single resource once in week (as circuit reward), or minisculine from circuit wave. And about plat - you can buy only some (Tasoma Extract, Ueymag, Lamentus and Ariette Scale) in packs from Cavalero (also got useless copys of incarnons as bonus). Its SO suboptimal almost like "buy new TV and use it as plastic table".

my problem with Duviri is it's not Warframe, this game is literally called Warframe and we don't even get to use them in most of the cool Duviri maps, I know "that's the lore and the story" and whatnot however I think that's total BS because if they're making up the story they can make up a way for players to use their favorite warframes, plus the parts of Duviri that you do get to use a Warframe, it's only 5 randoms out of all the Warframes like wtf.. again I know that "they chose a 'Roguelike' system so it HAS to be that way"... but why? Why would you tell 10 year players they can't use their favorite warframes in a game CALLED warframe on one of the most hyped updates in years...

Duviri was an enormous disappointment and I haven't touched it at all because it was directed at noobs because it introduced a whole new game intro sequence plus the whole operator/drifter lore stuff..

and people who played warframe for a long time and played warframe for the warframes and choose to main individual warframes got shafted because once again instead of letting us rely on warframes and builds we have been working on for over a decade, they just roll out a completely new character and weapon and power and movement and combat and map style so everyone has to start from scratch

plus there's the whole khal thing, which is cool and all but again I'm not allowed to use my favorite warframe for that content so as far as im concerned it doesnt exist which sucks because there are rewards locked behind it

this is my main issue with DE, they keep adding new stuff and completely new systems/mechanics and to force us to do it the way they want, they restrict us to the point of not even letting us use our favorite warframes in a game called warframe, then they get everyone to accept it by saying this is just how it is deal with it. TBH duviri wasn't bad, it just isn't warframe.

and only at the beginning, because with maxed buffs it works.
I still don't welcome these artificial resets. That's exactly the reason why I don't feel like playing rubbish like seasons/leagues or whatever in wow, diablo3, poe! That's just embarrassing and good for companies that don't want to produce REAL content.

But that's not necessary here. because the updates are very well done in my opinion.

yes you need resources and you may not like it but im pretty sure its the only thing you cant skip with plat to avoid duviri, but honestly, you go around for a bit collecting resources, thats not hard, i understand avoid doing the entire thing (it sucks i get it) but just collecting resources isnt that bad, and yes the fishing isnt bad either, you might not like it but if you really want them your gonna have to play it. should their be a plat skip? idk, maybe. but the thing is you have to put in the work if you want the thing.

i mean i hate selling for plat but i still do it becuase i need to, all games have parts where it just isnt fun or appealing but you still need to push through otherwise you arent going to progress

I hate K-drive to death and to this day I have not farmed Yareli and I never will. Problem solved.
