Easiest way is to open relics and sell prime parts to other players (check warframe market website for that), for now slots are indeed the best choice for you.

Depends on the need, wait till you need one or the other and buy it. Consider also selling weapons you are not interested in after getting them to max rank unless they are somehow unique or hard to get, to free up space.

you can farm plat super easy later. but you must play "relics" and sell prime parts super cheap on trade website or in chat. mr4 has only 4 trades daily. mr6 has 6 trades daily. etc. so it will take some time

You can also sell weapon parts from invasions, rare mods like the ones from orokin vaults on Deimos, etc. Won't be making lots of plat (unless someone in your relic mission brings a relic with a reward that sells well and you also take it), but it'll cover the slot costs.

Don't forget to check the wiki to see if they are used in a crafting recipe as well! (Unless it's a credit cost weapon, like the Braton, or Lato.)

You will need these slots because you will acquire newbie waframes kinda fast (which are acquired from boss missions). Newbie weapons are trash and you will sell them quite often after upgrading to lvl 30

Personally I used mine on 1 Warframe Slot & 4 Weapon Slots, there are a lot more weapons than Warframes, also Primary, Secondary & Melee weapons all use the universal Weapon Slots so you'll need a lot of them.

later on you can sell arcanes which you get fairly easy doing void cascade for example, or Edolon Hunts, thats a bit slower but some people like the bossfight and you get some of the more expensive arcanes like Arcane Energize which sells for 50p rank1/1000p rank5 (ofc you can also get those by dissolving other arcanes)

I would also check the Nightwave and see what slots they're giving out. There's usually warframe and/or weapon slots as rewards at some point.
