Men's mental health month?
What I type hear is not a shot nor an attack to anyone nor anyone's beliefs. Keep in mind as many threads in here were locked or users banned when just talking about this so if I do get locked or banned it speaks volumes of the issue.

I have no issue with Pride or anyone's way of life yet I feel that anyone else are not extended that same courtesy. This month was indeed Men's mental health month and replaced with Pride month and any discussion is being closed or banned.

Now you will ask why am i discussing this in a game thread and it is simple May 30th Pride 2024 from the War-frame Devs. You started this topic and instead of allowing people to discuss the topic you close the forms or ban them and to be honest I find this action shameful.

While I do appreciate you want to support Pride I think you should also support Men's mental health as well. You say you support equality then maybe it is time you do that.

We have Movember in November for all men’s health, mental health included.

Yes and no.

Since 1994, June was chosen as men's health month for mental illness. Yet not every country followed June as Men's mental health month for example like the UK they grew moustaches and beards to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancer where the Movember came form.

So one was really for mental illness and the other was for cancers. Then when Pride took June then they tried to lump it all to November.

Since 1994, June has been reconsidered as men's health month for mental illness. Yet not every country followed June as Men's mental health month for example like the UK they grew moustaches and beards to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancer where the Movember came form.

Pride is in June because of Stonewall, and that would be June 1969. Pride didn't 'take' June.

Already got banned and many others in our discussions on not forcing pride into peoples live to respect culture and religion and country, but seems it shows how one side is favoured due to a fear of them being aggressive or cancel culture, may all men get the love they need this month and many more <3

I took some time to read up on Stonewall and I will admit it makes sense for Pride to look into June 28 when it happened the start of pride. Then we have June 13th for MHA.

To be honest I still stand by my comments even if changed by you're details. Yet why not allow each side to just have those specific day's for them as an entire month seems a little excessive.

Respect is not something automatically granted. You wouldn't respect it if I, hypothetically, said that it's my culture to consider -your- culture to be dumb.

Well to be fair June 28th is Stonewall so the birth of LGTB and now pride and let June 13th still be MHA. Each side is giving the same respect and fairness as a month seems a little to much to be honest.

In less than an hour you've changed to thinking a month is now too much for men's mental health? And as already stated, we already have a month for this. Movember supports The Movember Foundation, whose website has a section for "Mental health and suicide prevention", as well as other topics like testicular and prostate cancer.

In less then a hour a user named Daliena enlightened me with details that no other has done so far. Taking time to read into the matter it did change my prospective on the matter. After rethinking I was still bothered on the subject.

June was meant for mental illness and wellness check and November was for prostate and testicular cancer checks. Then when Pride month came into play then both were lumped into November to be honest I do get alloyed in November via mental health and cancer.

A months celebration for any side is to long for both November and June let it be a days event and be done with it to be fair for both sides as knowing about Stonewall now I can at-least understand why Pride wanted June and I can respect that.

Movember actually kinda promotes toxic masculinity because beard is a masculine feature and all men can't even grow a beard or don't want to. And feeling inadequate because of lack of masculine features is one of the biggest causes for male depression.
