Which Warframe Is The Best For "Stationary" Time Passing Gameplay?
U know, press x ability once in x seconds and enemies will either die or will be crowd controlled cuz the only objective is pass the time
Vauban?Mirage?Xaku?Oberon?Hildryn?Limbo?Nidus?

if you mostly run lvl 30-80 missions then Mirage with augmented mines is a win
yeah was thinking the same thing. I just don't know if her dmg scales well with high lvl enemies
doesnt really scale much but does enough damage to handle enemies up to lvl 80 if you feel like it isnt enough slap Rhinos Roar on her for extra ability damage different story tho if you go against infested or corpus since that mine ability with its augment always deals the weakness damage type of an enemie is will make it easy to go against corpus and infested even at lvl 100+ but not so much with grineer since we all know they are the tankiest faction

Mesa and her 4 still pretty good for this, but do require mild paying attention. If you've got a second monitor, it's not a big deal. Just zone out, slowly rotating the camera from a high position while holding down primary fire, occasionally restarting the ability to refresh the area of effect on your screen.
no, Mesa has nothing to do with the thing i want. I rather play her actively.

Fair, but what you asked for was a frame that can pretty much win with minimal input. Your desire to play her actively is fine, I prefer doing it that way herself, jumping around, repositioning every other second, etc.

I still acknowledge that as long as her regulators are modded properly, you can also choose to play her with a lot less effort and attention involved.

I will say, as far as I know (I might be wrong) Saryn got passed over for the "Line of Sight" update to most room clearing abilities, so she is also pretty good to just idle and win with.

IDK. I thought Khora, could set up strangledome and just rock-n-roll, from one spot at a time. Bonus she can move too. So maybe Khora?
alas idk if theres a full on afk frame anymore due to overguard and such but i personally use hydroid for stuff like defence or survival. find a nice deadend in survival, press 4, wait until duration is done, press 4, rinse repeat. just shoot an eximus if you see it cause tentacles cant grab anything with overguard sadly but he gets pilfering swarm which is literally double drop rates for anything in your tentacles

you can get your range insanely high for hydroid too to counter hallway heroes (pilfering swarm just needs to hold the enemy to proc the double loot bonus)

tldr imo hydroid. extremely afk until eximus are abundant, scales well with grineer in steel path, and double loot whats not to love about double loot.

p.s forgot to mention pilfering swarm double loot drop bonus counts for survival life support drops too

Many "female" warframes tend to have passive murder-hose modes that allow destroying a large swath of the map up to our warframe scalability and progression. For lower level stuff Ember is a good fit and Mag can suit a similar type of gameplay. Mesa turning into turret mode essentially is pretty popular in some endless missions with more stationary objectives, particularly if you can have your energy issues managed. Nova in speed mode won't do as much damage but will move the enemies to the objective faster while being very passive generally - the enemies still explode if killed by someone - and can actually cause the players to lose if the others are not prepared or the Nova is solo. Khora on some missions can just net near the objectives and then whip the mess with her augment chaining damage,

For "male" warframes you might need to move more, but you can have Frost with high strength and range; his avalanche doesn't scale as well as those others but does lower armor and is good enough for normal starchart to reasonable levels. For the least active there, it would be Revenant with the swirling ballerina lasers. Nothing like any Eidolon, but it does sorta work like a Hunhow shard's spinning core attack, burns and adapts to everyone that walks into range. Sometimes hard to manage energy and life if being targeted but effective even into the realm of early Steel Path. Quickly reapply your invulnerability Mesmer instances and just keep spinning.

Honestly, just find whatever you like and most warframes have some option for trying to subtract from the census. Good luck with your runs and be careful with such a playstyle as DE tends to try to penalize relatively passive loot gathering. IF you stay in place too long, or only kill with abilities for a time, the game will move to mark you as AFK, and remove you from reward eligibility. Move around a good amount every so often, pickup your loot and shoot to kill a few times with your gun and you should be fine. We have even had folk in the past go afk when only killing through melee combos since they were only moving through melee, and that don't count as valid movement!

sayrun? but this looks like a very specific niche that idk youll find too much of
looks like Saryn is still the best . It was all Saryn and Oberon when they released. i guess they nerfed Oberon cuz of their AFKphobia. But I may do Xaku too. he is pretty much an a**o tu**et.
Carnasid 4 czerwca 2024 o 8:25
I'm assuming this OP is asking for interception/mirror defense purposes. In which case, Limbo just turns those missions off.

well those 2 the biggest ones when it comes to "just pass time". and yes that's why i thought about just do Limbo and alt tab once in a while. but then i need to use another warframe for survival missions. i ll do that in the future but i wanted a warframe that can do both until i use limbo and then use the other one for survival etc.

from my personal view mirage easily out performs saryn in many ways tho saryn deals more damage then mirage higher levels but before that mirage is better against lower lvl enemies saryn is good for higher level because of armor stripping and damage upscaling by infected enemies
Sceles 4 czerwca 2024 o 8:48
For low lvl like lvl70 or below it's Mirage no doubt but lots of other things work also so it comes down to personal preference

For mid lvl 70-100 non-sp like sorties Saryn and Volt work great, frames like Octavia and Gyre also work

For high lvl 100+ sp it's Xaku or Citrine. Kullervo is also very good, and Vauban though in a different way, Mesa is toggle spam but I would say she's also pretty chill. For mobile defense if you don't need insane killing power Zephyr is the queen.

Nothing at all really, but at least a few times when we have recommended warframes in the past; that if we didn't at least mention their "gender" someone would come back and go "oh, I don't really want to play a guy/gal warframe" and ask for different options. Since it was not specified I figured err on listing them upfront!
