Then sprinkle Vigilante set mods on top - to your companion's weapon - to get a chance of an "enhanced" Critical Hit of your primary weapon. One "tier" above in the crit ladder than you'd normally would. Chance of turning yellow into oranges, oranges in to reds and beyond(exclamation mark reds). You can put 4 mods onto your companion weapon and get 20% chance of that happening, with 30% max - if you put 2 WF mods on Zephyr... Which very much CAN have those spare 2 slots(one being exilus too!) without sacrificing performance of the rest of the build. Becuase she's one of those few frames that aren't crazy reliant on very specific builds and can spare even 2 slots for weapon-buffing like that through set-mods.
And if your own primary is already red-critting(3rd tier of crits) in the first place before all that... Well, you'll get some mad numbers from there. Consistent 4th/5th tier crits, oof!
Is it meta?
Maybe not.
Does it make the numbers go big?
Yes.
Mirage :
- I mean, "Eclipse" is a pretty huge buff to weapon damage.
- On top of that, her clones ("Hall of Mirrors") do add some strength-based damage and they inherit the modded stats from your weapon. The augment isn't needed, but it can boost damage further, for a limited time.
- Helminth Nourrish to replace her 2.
